So all last week my pot dealer kept calling me, bothering me to leave work early and all this stuff, not telling me why he wanted to see me. Finally I have a little bit of time to meet late on the night of Chanukah for my girlfriends family, as well as her birthday. He continues to call me until I tell him I'll drop by late. I get there to pick him up and he tells me he has a 3 year old mother plant of this amazing strain I get called Great White Shark (I would say this stuff is better than most kush I get). The bucket is over 30 pounds for this thing and I live in a 3 story apartment building, so I have to basically take this thing home with me and drag it up on my own at 1:30 in the morning. He also gave me a smaller plant of blueberry kush in a small coffee can the size of a paint can. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to take care of these things, I am leaving on a x-mas break and my friend will be taking care of them but I am not accustom to soil as well and don't quite know how much water I should give these etc... I'm venturing to guess that I basically just need to keep the soil wet for both of them.
Now lies my next problem which is getting the small plant eventually out of the can. It has ridges on the top and I know it cant get much bigger until I transplant it into something bigger. Whats the procedure here for this, anyone had to transplant out of a can before? How can I get into this thing without breaking the soil or the roots up? I wish the grower had just put them in disposable buckets so I could easily transplant but its not the case here... I'll be posting pictures later today when I get away from work for a bit! Any suggestions help!
