So i just bought a light set up from SupraSPL.. also plus rep to him for being awesome. its 2 CXA 3070Z4's running at 2.1 Amps each. he says the total draw is 210Watts. the rest of the grow is going to consist of a DWC style pot two 5 gal pots . growing 2 crop king seeds plants.. early miss and white widow. in a 4x2 tent and 6 inch fan to a carbon filter. im going to scrog the white widow and try to lsd the auto..my idea is that by the time the auto is in the last week or 2 of flower ill switch to 12/12 and start the white widow.. other lighting will be 2 UVB retile lights and possibly a large 80W florescent for supplement lighting.. if all goes well i hope to get about a 1/4 to 1/2lb...

Just for the record ...
Driving the CXA3070 at 2.1 A can't be nominated as "overclocking" ...
The CXA3070 array has a max driving current If = 2.8 A .
So,at 2.1 A ,a CXA3070 would be operating at 75% of it's max power dissipation .
" Overclocking" would be to Drive the CXA above it's max Vf ( > ~ 41VDC ) ,in order to force it
to draw more current than 2.8 A .Of course you'd probably need a liquid Nitrogen cooling system or
something of same cooling power to keep it "going" ....Like-wise with overclocked CPUs ....
As for cooling at 2.1 A ...
The previous design of mine with 4x CXA3070 Z4 ,at 2.1 A and ambient temp ~40 C ( !!! ) ,
has an average array Tc = 55 C.( As I'm being informed by the owner of the fixture...)
....
But then again with it's fans at max ( > 20 Watts ) and sounding like a fighter jet ,passing by ...

Keeping them 'cool' ( Tc < 60 C ) ,at 2.1A ain't an easy 'job' . ..
.......But as you've said ...
For 3-5 years of operation -only-...
Then ,I guess ,it's no problem if the Tc rises beyond 60 C ..
Cheers.
