An all blueberry grow

I was noticing some yellowing and orange tips on the largest plants,
and I shrugged it off as nutrient deficiency.
Since I hadn't flushed for a while I gave them enough water to run a little into the trays and test it.
I was expecting a little deviation in ph, as sometimes my water jugs sit for a while, maybe 6 or 5.5 was the worst I was imagined.
but the concentrations of salts must have been intense because when I tested it was 4!!!!
This HAS to be the biggest fuck up I've ever managed to do so I'm gonna try to fix it and save the buds!
a little scoop of woodash would help the ph stay up I believe, but I'm wondering if there's anything else I can add to stabilize as I'm planning on flushing with 3x more water than normal.

anyone have advice to help this stupidity I have created?

You can use lime, hardwood ash, or baking soda to raise PH. Also home depot sells sack lime, that would also raise it and is available at home depot gardening section. GL! PH problems ruined a previous crop, fix it ASAP or your crop will suffer.

I just plucked two yellow leaves off the affected plants (they pretty much fell off)
and it seems the other yellowing ones are turning green again slowly.

Thanks Mayo I'll go to home depot and check it out, it'll be good to have that for the future.
got the ash and soda for now, so if I buy some lime I can use that for the next crops soil mix, as well as fix this problem.

one thought though, does the PH down I've been using have an accumulative effect after being in the soil?
or is it the overdose of fertilizer, I feel like it's a stupid question but I'm a little confused as I've been taking my tap water (ph 8)
and bringing it down to about 6.5 with every watering. in theory it should stay there even after overfertilization.

I am not too sure. I know the PH being off locks up all the nutrients, but I'm not sure if PH down stays in the soil, I would think it would get used up/flushed out with every watering. But I think it would most likely be the PH was off, and the nutes kept building up, making your soil very acidic.

If you don't mind, I'll post some pictures of my blueberry girls, and show you my PH problem. It's causing some deficiencies on mine.

Soil: Fox Farms Ocean Forest mixed with Fox Farms Light warrior.
Light: 400w HPS
Nutes: FF Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom
Method: 12/12 from seed, and topping after first true node for 2 main colas.

As you can see, most of the lower leaves are yellowish and look messed up. Some of them have rusty brown spots. I'm pretty sure it was PH being off so I'm hoping the meter I'm getting will fix this. They are at 1 month today. They should finish around 1 to 1 and a half months from now.

One question though, does your blueberry smell at all? So far for me, there is no real smell to them.

damn they are looking a little off, I'd say its the ph as well.
have you been using any liquid ph tests or just watering without?
my runoff has picked up to about 6, that woodash really kicks ass
The leaves on mine are almost 3/4 returned to green, and the buds are speeding up as well.
they're just starting to smell too usually I'd have to rub the stem to get the blueberry smell on my fingers
but now i can pinch a bud and it smells up the room.
i'll get some new pics up in a few minutes.

I have been just trying to use a soil ph meter to get as close as I can until I get my electronic one, which should be soon. I just started trying to use this soil meter from lowes for 10 bucks and it seems to be fairly close because it was 7 to 8 before and I put the lemon juice in and it drops to 6 to 7. So I think im safe for now. Mine don't smell like blueberry yet... im jealous!

the Buds are really starting to stink now.
They've a really fruity jolly rancher smell right now but its really heavy and kind of hashlike, can't wait to get some molasses to help it really fill out.
also every plant has trichomes coming in, seems like a lot going on now that the ph problem is mostly taken care of.

hey man.. if ur wondering how to get some good close up of the trichs.. turn the macro on on ur camera.. get ur magnifying glass. even like 3x works.. i have a 5x magnifying glass.. but take the lens of ur camera and put it right up against the magn. glass and get it to focus.. it might take a couple tried to get it.. but once u figure out the distance.. u can get some nice close ups.. if u look at my grow in my sig.. look on page 40.. i got alotta close ups using my camera.. adn my camera sucks.. its a $70 camera.. but with the magnifying glass.. u can get some nice close ups. =) just a quick tip for ya

ok so I started a new job, so my time is pretty much put into that at the moment, I guess ill be a weekend poster for a bit which sucks
but I'll put in as much as I can to make up for it.
Heres some pics taken yesterday.
Today I flushed every one of the plants with two gallons of water to prevent toxic salt build up, and in about three weeks I should be beginning the two week flush.

most of the trichomes are formed and some of them are turning a little cloudy but otherwise I'm just watching the new pistils pop out every now and then.
lately theres been a lot of yellowing, more than I'd like so after the flush I gave them some mild fertilizer to help them bounce back, after they dry I hit'em
with some more molasses and big bud.
I started bending the lanky ones and I guess I bent one too close to the bulb because it started showing extreme signs of bleaching!
it's like a light yellow/white-ish splotch on the tip of the bud and since I moved it back it's stopped so I've learned to move them to where its warm
and not as close as possible.

yeah thanks chb444220
I took the pics on feb 25 with a magnifier, it's kind of fun moving the glass back and forth to manually set the depth

Oh yeah
I've also transplanted some of the clones so they'll be ready to start budding as soon as these girls have been hacked.
I think I'll keep this journal going for the indoors cause they're the same clones, but for outdoors I'll start an outdoor thread.
The mother of these clones is getting pretty big in the sunlight and it's almost warm enough to stick them in the ground.
I have three of these blueberries in my porch window and one smaller more indica blueberry cross which are all going in with my blackberry bushes in the back yard.

Nice man! They are fattening up good! You are going to have a ton of blueberry yum yum my friend. Please tell me you are doind the long slow cure for this. The best way for blueberry is to cut the buds when still wet and start the cure so its extremely slow to make the smell super pungent. My girls are doing okay. Half of them are not doing very well due to PH, but as are all things, survival of the fittest. The other half are doing great and are having no problems. I'll post some compare pics. Mine are nothing like yours though. Also mine still do not smell, I want you to look at my pics and tell me if yours smelled when they looked like mine. I assume the room wreaks of blueberries now!!! :)
