Amplifier?

Ok so i'm assuming this is going to end up being a really stupid post... but since I've got little to no knowledge of how these things work... here goes...

So your car can't produce enough power to run a high end stereo right? So we get an amplifier to produce the power needed and a capacitor to store excess energy and handle any large spikes in wattage... (i think i got that right)

So couldn't one of us wire up a car stereo amp to cut down on the energy costs of running a grow room???

Your car can produce enough power to power a high-end stereo, but the cost of replacing the tubes (valves for our cousins across the pond) will become an issue. cn

Well... Your car does have enough energy to run the after market ear splitting amp and sub-woofer.
You are right, the capacitor is there to compensate for voltage spikes. No other power source is added to the car for the stereo.

To run a grow room using a audio amp would be possible at 60 hertz but would take more energy than just plugging lights and fans in normal receptacles.

thanks for clearing that up, when i tried googling it and nothing came up i knew there'd be some reason why it wasn't viable
