Amount of root take needed?

Hi! Noob alert!

I've been lurking for quite a while, and only after a few hours of scrounging around the net for this question with no definitive answer, I decided that it might be time to create an account.
I'm in the planning stages of a project, and I'm trying to figure out how much root powder/gel I need. As in, how long do you estimate something like 32oz will last? 100 clone plants? 500? etc...

Gel or powder? You don't need much even for 100 plants. Maybe 16oz max.

i have a bottle of $5 rooting powder 1 1/4 oz. have done well over 100 clones and still have enough to do at least a few hundred more.
Goes a long way.
