I've been wanting to grow for a very long time. Finally I'm doin' it. Hopefully I don't fuck things up too much.

5x5x9 insulated room
600w air-cooled hood
600w Hypotek digital dimmable ballast
4-T12 fluorescent
6" 440CFM Inline Fan
Carbon Scrubber

Growing in 5 gallon buckets of Roots Organic Soil
The babes:
2- SF Sour Flower
2- Chem Dawg
2- Jack The Ripper

No Nutes picked out yet. I'm waiting for a sample package from Cutting Edge Solutions and Aurora is sending me Roots Organics and Soul Synthetics sample packs. Whichever arrives first is probably what I will use.

SF Sour Flower, These two are doing the best after transplant.

JackTheRipper.jpg
Jack The Ripper, a bit droopy. Probably shocked a bit.

ChemDawg.jpg
Chem Dawg, These two are looking the worst I think. Mag deficient?, yellowy.

It's been a couple days since I got them home and in dirt. The fluorescents aren't generating much heat so temps in the room hovered around 65ºF. We're finally out of a ridiculous cold spell. The room temp has finally climbed about 70ºF. Right now, temp is stable at ~74F. Humidity ~55%. That's with no HPS and occasional exhaust on.

Thusfar, no nutes. They were waterlogged during transport and roots got exposed to light for nearly a day before I got them in dirt. That along with cold temperatures surely stressed all of my babes.
The SFSourFlowers look to be in fine condition. Not stressed one bit.
JackTheRipper seems a bit unnerved. She seems frazzled, and a bit droopy. Seems a bit better today than yesterday.
Chem Dawg. Bigger leaves than the others. Yellowy, droopy. Not happy. But now that she's home. Maybe she'll be feeling better.

This is my first effort at growing. Everything I've learned about grow rooms and the babes is learned on forums and youtube.
Please let me know if you have any tips, tricks, and advice to improve my sweet babies. :leaf:

I may not update here frequently because it so far isn't of any help.
Anyhow, I took a 5 prong mildew attack strategy that included Neem, BonideInfuse, MilkSolution, Sulfur spray and low humidity. It seems to have worked. It didn't spread and is so far eradicated from the babes.
They were stagnant growthwise for a few days. But since cranking up the HPS their growth has been accelerating. Also, letting em dry out helped.
Still waiting for my promised nutrient sample packs from Aurora and CuttingEdgeSolutions. Roots Organic soil is doing fine for now though, the Babes are gonna need to eat soon.

I'm starting to get really attached to my babes.
