amber trichs before/after harvest???

so, i was trying to look up info about amber trichs, and when they become amber. when they turn amber on the plant. and when you harvest cloudy/clear trichomes that turn amber after drying/cure. are they the same thing? or will they both have the same effect?

could not find anything so i was wondering if anyone here knows.

Yes, I believe it's the same thing. Amber is amber.
From personal experience, a LOT of cloudy trichs will turn amber during curing.

However, I don't know this for a fact - maybe milky thrics that become amber during curing is not "true amber"? Anyone else?

As a cannabis cultivator, it helps to know just a little bit more than what THC is?such as how it develops over time and how chemical changes in trichomes contribute to different psychoactive effects.

Well, it's to my knowledge that trichs go through stages as they age on the plant and in the curing jar, they go from just a stalk on the buds surface, to a mostly formed clear trichome, to a "milky" trichome and finally to an amber trichome. It's important to note that their is some debate about what is better "milky" trichomes or "amber" trichomes. But as i have read it a milky trichome harvest will boast higher numbers in THC, whereas harvesting when the trichomes are amber shows a higher level of CBD and CBN. This means that a milky harvest will give you an up-lifting energetic high, and an amber harvest will give you a powerful stone feeling(In theory anyway). And tichomes that turn amber after harvest are actually amber.

I'll have to harvest a lot earlier then - or I would get.... dead amber...

(BTW: I got two different answers above, both cannot be true).
