I would say its virtually impossible to see the trichome heads with the naked eye, but those are some pretty good photos and I do see some amber in there... having said that its important that your checking the flowers calyxes for amber trichs not the leaves. And as your plant has yet to swell its calyxes it is obviously not ripe yet.

Trichomes on sugar leaf will turn amber much sooner than trichomes on the actual bud itself . I believe where you see the amber is on the sugar leaf. Also, keep The pets out of the grow tent!

Those are on the sugar leaves but many people go by that which is why amber trichomes are not great determination as so many seem to think and cause many to harvest early. Some plants amber early and some never amber at all. It's best to not even worry about the trichomes until the overall look of the plant makes it obvious that the plant is close to done.
It is on the leaf only indeed but 4 week seems really soon. I cant escape the pet's hair even if they dont go in the tent.

Stop looking at triches on leaf ... they mature at different rates .

Seeing as your not experienced enough to know “the overall look”, stick to the trichomes. Just not on the sugar leaf. Calyx area like Budz mentioned, won’t be able to get much of a good look at week 4, wait til atleast week 6-7, it won’t be ready before then I promise. Trichomes are by far the easiest and most certain way to see how ripe your plants are. Different cultivars behave differently, but a photoperiod WILL NEVER BE READY IN LESS THAN 7 WEEKS. NEVERR, I’d even say none will be ready before 8. Ive never seen it.

Your telling me haha. My whole operation is in my bedroom so there’s no forgetting about it . At least it’s perpetual, harvest every 4–6 weeks.

Perpetuals are the way to go .... I run autos and photos ( veg ) together when photos are ready to flip I move to a flower tent .
Autos stay put and finish , I start next auto batch , then 2 weeks later start photos again.
As far as bedroom grows .... hold my beer.

Haha, I’d say hold mine but just finished my last beer . Nice setup! Though if I were you I would definitely scrog your flower tent for a larger canopy, looks like your only using like 70% or so. Especially since your only running 2 in there. Any reason your not ? I don’t know the facts so might be a good reason .

It was “ only “ because I lost use of another bedroom - Damn kids .
So I had to improvise... I sleep well breathing that terpy air.
And during hot weather months , I usually power down one tent and run 12/12 SOG ( from seed 12/12 ).
Made it easier on the power bill during summer and I can a bunch of 1 gallon bags / LST & Mainlined to optimize space and tops per bag.
