amber hairs start from the bottom?

I have 9 plants, 5 weeks into flower. and was wondering if anyone could tell me why the hairs start to turn an amber/dark red color at the lower buds first, and then move its way up the plant? not talking about the trich's, but the hairs that start out white, and begin to change color.
just curious, thats all.

Thanks

I think the reason you see the pistils browning from the bottom up just has to do with the fact that those pistils are older than the newer growth and pistils continuously coming in at the top of the plant.

this makes the most sense when you consider the fact that a lot of strains start throwing out extra pistils toward the end. however in general i do think it's pretty weird for the part of the plant that recieves the least light to mature quicker. could they have been accidentally pollinated?

k well it can be a couple things. first it can be pollenation. this is easy to detect by just looking at the pistils. if they turned ornage/redish and are receding back into the calyx its been pollenated. also another indicator is premature swelling of the calyx that happens once the pistils have fully receded.

second all pistils change colour at some point in flower. they start to mature, and loss the ability to produce seeds, so new pistils pop above. these are all the little red hairs you find in ur nugs. they are just mature pistils

In my opinion Its just the pistils maturing... just watch out for receding hairs and premature swelling of the calyx, if you dont see any signs of that your fine then bro

Ive seen it in a few crops where the plant are to jammed in there and the lack of light im asumed caused the lower parts to turn red but maybe theres more to it

i was thinking the same thing, but it seems weird to me that buds with less lumen s would mature sooner. thanks you

could also be the lack of light lower on the plant
are you thinking that less light would cause the bud to react in a way that would cause it to mature sooner? cause i have thought the same thing, it just doesnt seem to fall into place. not sure though. thats why i was asking for help.
thanks

thats a great question. cause there is a possibility that pollen was introduced. i had a few plants from my last batch hermi. although i used some reverse spray that stopped everything in its tracks. but i did spend a few hours carefully plucking the little banana's from the buds to prevent something like this.
thanks.

thanks you very much, great info. they pistols dont seem to be receeding into the bud as if it where polinated. i looked carefully after i read your post and it seems to be a reaction of a mature bud. it was just very weird to me that the main cola was still bright white without any traces of mature pistils yet. they still seem to be flourishing.

thank you very much for your help.
