Am I Right To Start Flushing Now?

I actually hang dry on stems before trimming to slow the dry and keep processes going as long as possible and pop em in and out of jars as needed to keep humidity in the jars around 60%, I like to think I understand the cure.

But can you tell me why advocate adding base nutrients until the end if your buds have stopped growing?
Click the actual .edu citation link and discover the actual process, as stated N is required for a proper cure

you guys kill me... any chemicals have weight please dont hate for this.

if you older you remember paraquat that was sprayed by the mexican army in mexico to kill all the marijuana they had. What it did was make the pot fucking fantastic for a high. It made all the pot gold and sold like wild fire. BUT what it did was kill your fucking lungs. People were chocking up black shit aftert time. So they did not know and thought it was the best fucking pot EVER. lmao
So to say your customers do not know...might just be they have no idear .You do not know what you do not know in the first place.
Now a cup winner flushed... i do not know about everyone but i do know of about 80% of the winners who had to say how they grew it.. said they always flushed.
And if you are a novious and spray your plants with chemicals during flower like sm 90 or such it WILL stay until flushed. If you do not flush it will stay and if you have a cancer patient on certain meds.. he WILL get sick. His stomach will not settle.

Flushing is a preference plan and simple. If anyone has been growing for a while (I am 52 and have since i was 14) we tend to be connoisseur and look forward to True plant tastes. If you do not flush you still have chemicals in it. That has not been denied because those who do not say they DO NOT TASTE it. But you have to knopw it is still there and you are smoking it.
Flushing is just that flushing. Getting what you can out of the stalk and leaves before she turns. The plant will take what remaining chemicals it has and distribute them through out. That is why most will flush till they see the difency in the leaves.

Now weight lol WTF all water has weight. Your plant has 3 stages of growth periods while in flower. Once you have past the third stage your nutes are doing NOTHING. She is already taking what nutes are in her stalk and leaves and stems and transferring them to the buds. ALL PLANTS HAVE A NATURAL NEED FOR SELF PRESERVATION and really on there flowers to pass on life in the form of seeds, pollen and such.

So dont hate... its still a preference but after 40 years i will always flush. Also if chemicals are in the plant drying and not flushed... some strains that change color while curing will not.
we already showed that buds don't have salt nutrients in them, but thanks for trying

As stated in one of your posts, the bud leaves that we actually smoke stay green meaning they still have the nitrogen needed to cure.

If the sugar leaves don't have nitrogen, and you trim off the fan leaves, where is the nitrogen coming from when you cure?
Actually I'm done bumping this, I come here to help people and having this thread visible for newbies is probably going to steer them the wrong direction. Please continue in pm if you're interested.

As chuck said, I gave you the citation you requested, you continue argueing without reading it. If we put your flushed buds against my unflushed buds in a blind test I promise you mine will win

You can continue arguing your stance OR you could spend a few minutes and learn something

what's the difference between last water and flush? volume?

i want to try @RM3 boiling water/last water this time around.

there is a difference here many think flush/chop

i'm intrigued by the boiling water WITH lights on for 3-5 days then chop.

i'm even thinking since he uses no dark period to how i can somehow work that into the process by limiting the light instead of 12/12 maybe declining day 1 12/12 day 2 11/13 day 3 10/14 etc until chop.

i've stumbled onto light manipulation and it's amazing what you can do..veg with some decreasing light to continue root growth and yet let the pre-flowers show in order to cut 2 weeks off the schedule.
