Am i pre flowering or not?

I have three plants that are about 2 months old now, started from fem seeds and basically have always had near identical conditions. Strains:
-Purple bud
-Dream Machine
-White Widow

the light ive been using is mainly natural light but also occassionally some led growlights which are pretty cheapDSC02831.JPG DSC02830.JPG DSC02829.JPG DSC02827.JPG DSC02826.JPG DSC02825.JPG DSC02823.JPG

I've recently noticed that the purple bud has pistils which are pictured attached, what does this mean? I'm finding different things online, preflowering stage? or its just mature? If anyone knows please let me know :)

Also i've noticed some really tiny holes and some discolouration on different plants as pictured. the plants have always been kept in my conservatory (glass house) indoors. I've not found any insects on the plants but keep finding holes - the holes are only on the upper cannopy of leaves weirdly.

Also i recently had to put more soil in my pots since the roots began to come out the bottom, i added about 7cm of soil which should last a while but should i get bigger ones before i start to flower as i dont really want to change pots during flowering or shall i just stick to these pots?

if anyone can suggest anything that would be appreciated, cheers from over here in London, UK!

"I've recently noticed that the purple bud has pistils which are pictured attached, what does this mean?" She is female. Happy growing!

yep, as above...female show white hairs (pistils)

they look good...when you transplant to bigger pots maybe you will want to add some perlite to promote better drainage and root growth

also, may want to grab some cal-mag

Thanks bro, do you reckon I should bother transplanting to bigger pots? Do you put perlite at the top or bottom of the pot? Also why has only one of the plants got pistils? they are all meant to be fem!?

no, not at all i was wondering why only one has pistils and the others dont sine they are the same age
Plants of the same strain grow different (different phenotypes). When you put a plant into flowering 12/12) cycle it takes about a week or 2 to start flowering cycle. But if the plant is already showing pistils that only means they are ready to start flower and they will kick into flower fast because the pistils are already forming. So it's a good thing and means you did a proper veg and the other plants will start developing pistils real soon also . Growing feminized seeds they almost certainly will turn hermie . Plz watch you plants for male sacks plz . The male sacks will form in areas you won't expect . And don't be like me and think you won't happen to you or you think you did a perfect grow so they shouldn't turn hermie . Trust me they fucking the game up with crossing unstable strains and you don't have to stress the plant because most these strains genetics are hermaphrodite . This will crush your heart if your plants get pollinated so watch them everyday after you switch to flower and remove the male sacks as they start to form.
Yup transplant to 3gallon smart pots

as mentioned above...mix perlite with soil...I use more than most people...I use about 1/3 perlite

bigger pots...bigger plants...bigger buds

I have height limitations so I top twice while in veg and transplant into 4-6 gal pots to keep em small (I veg for 30 days 24hr light)

I would transplant just to get some perlite in there and if you have the available space I would go with at least a 4-5 gal....if you don't top though and in 5 gal bucket can get pretty tall...especially outdoors!

those looks amazing man, these are my first non-auto plants so im just hoping to get something from them. I had no idea they could turn hermy so easily, guess its just down to they way fem seeds are made and their genetics.

on growweedeasy website they had a bit on hermies and they have some bannana shaped things coming out the nugs which appartently releases pollen (holy f*ck)

so by balls you mean the male nodule things? i'll keep an eye out for those - if i find one do i cut it off or what? just throw the plant out?

Feminized is great if you deal with a good breeder. But I'm just trying to remind you that alot of these strains have hermaphrodite traits . I'm fairly experienced and I never use feminized I only grow regular because their more stable and the one time I used feminized seeds they was true hermaphrodite seeds So just keep a eye out on the entire plant and under fan leaves and you should be good. But it's up to you if you cut the sacks off .then you'll have to keep a eye out for male sacks everyday and you should be good but if genetics matter and you don't want weak/hermaphrodite plants in rotation then throw it away. If a plant goes into flower and has female pistils and male sacks that's a true hermaphrodite they are bad for business . If you stress a plant and the plant throw out nanners it's not a hermaphrodite because the nanners contain female pollen and not male pollen

nanners...bananas are mostly found on Sativa dom and can show up especially if late feeding delays finish

they are yellow and protrude right out of bud....ugly

differing opinions on if the pollen from a nanner is even viable

most hermie are strain related and have nothing (or little) to do with fem seeds

any female if stressed enough will turn hermie

best then to be very attentive and don't let pot dry out too much (or too little) and light leaks biggest reason for hermies as marijuana is very photo-sensitive

also, not to hot and not to cold...etc.

*update* bought 3 new smart pots and cocosoil. Chose it overperlite since i already had some around and im broke af. I topped the plants too since im staying veg a while longer. I also noticed some discoloration on some leaves but i dont know why its done that.
