Thank you got it working..people were telling me on another thread I couldn't use this ph tester.
Should I use this as a reading? Or should I mix it well then take a reading?I use something similar; it will definitely get you in the ball park if you use it correctly. In fact I don't bother with any other pH testing equipment, it works that well.
Yes I read the instructions and have been adding 1 drop of chlorine neutralizer and 5 drops of ph to test. These are the numbers I gotYes, you need to mix it completely. I use just a vial and drops...fill the vial half way with my feed, 4 drops, shake, read it. Super simple and definitely accurate enough. My kit is for testing pH only, and it's made for horticulture practices; if that makes a difference.
Yes, that does look like a pool water test kit. Are you sure you're testing for pH and not Chlorine levels? What is the pH range this kit is set up to test for?
I did test wrong at first lol I probably used 1 drop less lolThe 2.0 pH on your bottled water is super low...highly acidic in fact. I would think your reading is incorrect, or you wouldn't be able to drink the stuff. You may want to re-test this and see what you get.
mixing or not your still going to get a red color from thisShould I use this as a reading? Or should I mix it well then take a reading?
