I have the exact same size cabinet for my veg box. How many plants you thinking? Fans- Going active or passave? Would recommend some speed controllers for the fans, they will make that box howl. Environment where growing? CFL's- are watts actuall or equivalent? Light mounting/arrangement? Fan for planT? Think you will still need it due to # of lights. I have 4 42w and 2 23w and it gets hot in there even with the fan. Would recommend a 120mm speed controlled fan 20-69 cfm to blow across lights and canopy. It's very thin and can be made adjustable really easy. I haves 4" desk fan in there now and its crammed in there and creates a tornado. Just some things to rattle your brain or spark an idea. I have had my caninet up and running for about 2 weeks and am still dialing it in. Good luck,it's a great hobby.

Seeds, water, grow medium, nutes (not necessarily the most important)

I was mainly focused on the grow cabinet itself

Going to use inline filter?
Smell really wont be an issue in this set up two small plants, no one should be able to smell it unless they are in the grow room, and I dont exactly let people in my house so it is very unlikely it will be an issue.

I plan to grow two plants. The fans will be active at all times, I plan on having one blow on the lights while the other sucks air out, the lights all have clamps, i nailed in 2x4s in on all sides to mount the lights to, will the fan be needed since I will have the 100 cfm 4 inch fan blowing directly on the lights?

that's pretty cramped. you may want to consider doing a scrog.....
Yes I was also thinking that as well, I found a screen about an hour ago that I can use that will fit inside perfectly.

Rethink the clamp lights. I tried it And they take up so much room it was tough with one plant. They are a pain in the ass to move and all the cords blow. Consider power strips on the ceiling or top back and use the sockets that have the plugs and plug into light strip with y fitting and you could get 10 42 watters in there if needed. I've tried several different set ups and this has been the best. Blow 4" fan between y lights and they'll be cool to touch. Use props to get plant to light. I use an adjustable paint stick cut down to 9" which adjusts to 18" with a quick twist with wood pedestals on each end for support. Takes 4" pot seedling right up to light with no circulation blockage(be surprised at what temps do when you use different
Props for the plants.different things n shapes change circ around) and adjusts down to 9" for next size pot. Then I use a wire drying rack(any kitchen type store) that has nice 4 inch legs which gets plant in 1/2 gal pot closet to lights also no circ blockage. After that I use shims to get max light on em.damn. Sorry for ramble but just trying to lend a hand from experience.

Alright I will run up to lowes and get the y adapters when the clamp lights become a problem, and I appreciate the advice rather know what to expect anyways.
