Am I just stating the obvious or...

Oh yeah I drive the double belly dumps at work...It all on station so I dont need a CDL...We do a lot of off station work and they have been bugging me to get it so I can haul the equipment around that they want me too use...there try'n to get double duty out of me the basterds....
 
One thing to remember, once you have that CDL, you can go and work anywhere you want....
If they aren't paying you enough, there are always places that pay more.
Also Motor Carrier Regulations state that they can not make you do anything extra with out Just and fair compensation. That's federal law.
 
I've driven everything from belly dumps to concrete mixers. the most unstable were the mixers with a 5-8 inch slump. We had to go in some pretty scary situations with those mixers, like slopes and the edge of huge trenches. A couple of my friends got pretty screwed up after rolling a mixer, and one dude I didn't know got killed, literally smashed his head like a pumpkin. One driver got too close to the edge of a flood control channel and it caved in, rolling him over down the side, he had some broken bones, cuts and bruises, lucky he survived. You become pretty proficient in placing that eighty thousand lb. behemouth in tight places, like backing up between two houses with about 2-3 inches on either side. I liked driving mixers best, less boring. BTW, I had my CDL untill I retired.
 
Yeah Med, I'm fixing to start hauling Tankers.
I'll be working 12 hours a day hauling Salt Water off of Oil Leases.
We've had a Boom of oil drilling the last few years and the water hauling will be around for a long time. It pays well too.

Good deal, beats taking all that crap as a supervisor for some fucked up construction co. eh? Truck driving is the best.All you do is do your Job and no-one fucks with you, and you make decent bread.

You got that shit right, I quit that mutha fucker once he got to where he wasn't paying regular. That asshole still owes me $1,000.

Hey thanks for the offer but I prefer to just read the material and study it that way..I dont know what you mean by cheat sheet but I dont like to cheat cause you only cheat yourself!!!!!But thank you for the offer....

Just noticed this. When I first started watching it, I called it the Hitler channel cuz they were always showing him invading France or Russia.
