I'm using 5 26w cfl's and 2 50w MH bulbs for my 1 plant grow box, is that a good amount of light?

So thats like 8000 lumens. and the 2 50w metal halides together are like 8,500 lumens.. 16,500 is alot for one plant!! Plus the CFLs have UV or UVB in them

LoganSmith Well-Known Member Jan 6, 2008 #5 K* is the specturm of the light or the color ray ie 2700k* is a red spec. and these are used primy in flowering. 6500k is a blue color spec. ray. used primly in vegging.
