definitely a mold issue. I would try the milk spray solution, but there's no guarantee that it will work. Keep an eye on it, avoid spreading the fungus to other parts of the plant and cut it off if it gets worse before it spreads.

Well, folks, it's been entertaining to watch this thread spin off into a fight but meanwhile the sun goes round and round and the branch on the plant (see first pic) is starting to die.
I will have to cut it off, scrape the mold off the cut section, dose it with something like SM90 and hope for the best as the rest of the plant still has a while to go before the main buds are fully mature.
I have been using molasses since early veg, never grown before so we'll see what happens..

@ 303, I thank you for your service. It is appreciated, especially since you had to deal with being involved in Iraq. But that doesn't mean you are right about the issue. I appreciate your service but very strongly disagree with the reasons you were sent. I wish you were not sent. And I don't think that Lord Dangly Bits or myself or anyone else should die because they think something you disagree with. I mean, really. Should we be beheaded? Shot? Burned at the stake? I personally believe that the attack on 9/11 was a US false-flag operation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_flag). I think elements in the government knew of the Al-Qaeda plot and helped it along, making sure it went off as planned to get the US public behind the war on "terror". The US government has a long and well documented history of doing this:
- The "attack" on the USS Main that lead to the Spanish-American War was an accidental explosion used to convince the public that we had been attacked by Spain.
- The attack on Pearl Harbor, which elements of the US government and military knew of ahead of time but allowed to happen to convince the public to support US involvement in WWII.
- The Gulf of Tonkin Incident where reports of a Vietnamese attack on the US Navy were known to be false but represented as true to justify the Vietnam War.
All lies used by our government to push the population into wars without concern for the countless human lives destroyed on all sides.
Now I consider myself a nice, friendly, open minded guy, as do most people who meet me, who happens to think 9/11 was an inside job, the invasion of Iraq was as wrong as something can be and Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Perl, Wolfowitz, Rice and others should all be hung by the neck, without hoods, on world-wide prime-time television for per-meditated mass murder and crimes against humanity.
Wake up and smell the Napalm, folks. This ain't Disneyland we're living in here.

to clear up some confusion also;
-molasses is good because of its cal/mag/iron content
-milk works as a spray because of its potassium content, K boosts the plants "immune system"(really it just regulates water and nutes)
