Am I getting ripped off?

I sell for $150 an ounce. One person takes it all. Good risk management strategy. But, I remember paying $350 for an oz of very goo, potent, great tasting and smelling product. There was a learning curve and first so my stuff wasn't as great, but now I'm producing product better than anything I've ever bought. Do you think this is a fair price for me to sell?

Yes, I understand there are a lot of variables such as strain and what a particular person likes but $150 seems low to me considering the time investment.

As always, polite, pertinent comments are welcome, and think you in advance

depends on the market where you live. if you ask for $200 and this person says no, what's your plan B?
Where I live, properly cured, high quality goes for $350 or $50 an eighth. So I guess the right question would be, how much lower should a grower let it go for compared to the current price in my area.

But I was paying 80- 100 $$ for a good qt. Bag not the schawg in a bag I been getting but good datt fire lol. But price are prices convience can be your best Ali in upping the price. Be there on time, always answer your phone, returns calls, and be quick that's what I'll pay top dollar for. Good service and good smoke

I've been getting my decent middies for $50-$60 per half for years now, so $150/oz sounds legit to me.

Can't be getting ripped off if you offer a price and the guy takes it, right?

All you can do is find out what's available near you, for what price, and see where you stand. Adjust if necessary & possible.
Yeah just make sure you don't get that murda face for steppin on someone's shoes.

True. But the original price was based on the steep learning curve. Now I'm producing the best stuff I've had. Before I grew the same guy would sell to me for $100 a quarter or $350 an oz. But, I guess the price reflects the convenience to some degree. I only give it to him, he takes it all, no people calling my cell or coming to my house. Perhaps the trade-off is worth it.

It depends on what youre comfortable with accepting. If it covers your expenses, leaves you enough to smoke and keeps a chunk of money in your pocket then I say fuck it. Better to just deal with that one person than to venture and grt yourself in some shit. But tell him you need to go up a little this time and see what he says. If its as good as you say he may complain a little but will realize he's still getting a deal.

So your stuff is better than the stuff he was selling to you at $350 an oz now? So, he's probably selling your stuff to other people for $350 an oz unless prices dropped around you.
That means you're spending on materials, power, time and getting $150 an oz minus those costs.
He's getting $200 an oz profit minus...some baggies and petrol?

And that's if he's selling it as oz, he splits one into Q's he gets $250 profit from it.

If you know the guy and trust him (other than with profits lol) then don't get pissy with him about it, just say you reckon this crop's worth $200 an oz and see what he says next time. If he quibbles, just say you got the costs of growing, electricity ect to cover. It's up to you to think first how far you want to take it, if he won't budge are you willing to find someone else to sell to?

I can't see it coming to that though. I've been offered £180 an oz here and I buy, from normal dealers, at £230-240. That's 30% profit for the dealer. Your's has been making 130%. Even if you charged him $250 an oz he'd be making 40% profit which is more than the guys offering to buy mine would be per full oz.
