1) I cut all the fan & smaller leaves off while the plant is still fresh.
2) I hang the branch upside down to dry
3) After only a couple days I cut the buds & put them in a paper bag.
4) After a couple days in the bag I put them in Mason Jars & rotate daily.

It seems like the buds are drying out to fast & are too light. The 1st plant I finished I got almost 8oz off of it but it still seems like something is alittle off. The rooms theyre in are room temp, 75 degrees, and theres good circulation w/ paddle fans. Any help? Thanx alot.

too much air circulation or basically too much breeze hittin the buds will make em dry out quick try just an exhaust pullin all the air out of the room no intake fans see if that will work and still mantain good temps

also, too much breeze on the buds will trap the chlorophyl in ...makeing your nugget smell like wet grass..hope this helps my dude goodluck!

I just keep a small fan going, not aimed at the buds. It keeps air circulating but no breeze on the buds.

Try trimming your water (large) leaves prior to drying, leaving your suger (small) leaves on there til you get ready to cure, just before curing, trim your sugar leaves.
this helps with flavor greatly.

good idea to have a hygrometer. Bud drying too fast can be a sign of improper humidity. Ideally, humidity in the drying room will be 45-55%. If it dries too fast, the chlorophyll wont have a chance to burn off as much, which effects the taste and smell. Makes it smell like hay.

I appreciate the help fellas. NBKA, Ive been doing it kinda like the way you said. I just thought it would take longer for the plants to dry but most of them are drying in 2 days.
