Alpena, MI! Forest Farm & Compost Mill

Ok, so I recently inherited 40 acres in Alpena Michigan. currently it is heavily wooded to open lots. Most of the trees are maple ash cedar and pine. All of the debris on the ground is what you could expect from an old growth forest. Basically untouched land.

Crrently when it comes to resources we have an outhouse in a 5th wheel trailer and we get power from the generator. my plan is to start a decent size garden and use the ground waist and trees as compost. I plan on selling the access vegetables fruits and compost well as firewood.

My problem is I'm from Macomb County, Michigan and I know nothing about the Alpina area. I have a background in gardening and horticulture as well as landscaping.

I'm starting with about $5000 and all the knowledge I've collected over the years of studying. I'm clueless as how to start. I know that I have to have compost in order to feed my garden so I should start the compost first but I don't know how to start it with wood & leaves & brush.

I have a large amount of beneficial bacteria, microbes and supplements for gardening and I have a few compost accelerators. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas as to how I can compost the material for my garden quickly so that I can get a grown up and running.

Any suggestions would be very helpful
