That's right, right? It doesn't matter how much water you run them through, you can't wash out what is already in. And whats the point of putting all the nutes in it and then washing them out?

Im going to just use water on my next run, see how that goesBy the way I only use a simple one part nutrient from start to finish it’s super cheap and works very well.
gee, and yet you still don't know what you are talking about!Flushing is some bullshit made up of bro science. Once a plant takes up nutrients they can’t be flushed with water or any sort of magic bottled moose piss. I farm plus go to school for a degree in botany never has flushing came up. Simply learn to read your plants don’t overfeed. Don’t follow the nutrient feed schedules they only want you to use more so you buy more. Proper drying and curing is what makes weed taste and smoke properly.
If you run good super soil you can go start to finish with water only. I have used Detroit water only soil and make my own my plants stay real nice and green all the way to the day I chop them down.Im going to just use water on my next run, see how that goes
you are the one that felt the need to post?!?!You guys are trippin... Its not really that serious!!!
I’ve been in and won medical cannabis cup here in Clio mi. I use well water and I can tell you good soil will buffer the ph in either with no issue. I’ve grown for some time as well. Like I said I farm too so there’s that.gee, and yet you still don't know what you are talking about!
oftentimes, best way to reset ph is with a flush
also, high alkaline water leaves deposits/buildup
you are the one with the made up, "bro science",
you must not have grown long
you likely one of these guys that feeds until harvest and pot tastes like crap
ya, so what?I’ve been in and won medical cannabis cup here in Clio mi. I use well water and I can tell you good soil will buffer the ph in either with no issue. I’ve grown for some time as well. Like I said I farm too so there’s that.
I run two separate rooms one is a full on supersoil room which is all water only. The other is hydro you can’t tell the difference. Weed is just as easy to grow and corn or anything else. The only difference is I can’t harvest it with a tractor. Plus if you rarely feed how is you have any build up? If your claiming it’s from high alkaline water what’s pouring a shit ton more of said water into the container going to do. Growing weed since the 90’s says nothing to me. I’ve meet the guy my sister had running their grow for a dispensary they’re opening in Cali. He’s 70 something and is such a shitty grower he won’t even smoke his own stuff. So the argument of I’ve grown weed since the 90’s means little.ya, so what?
good for you!
not everyone has well water and I have seen enough of a growth spurt after flushing with my own eyes
and I been growing pot since late 90's
and garden since a kid...big deal!
growing pot in a bucket/pot has little to do with any other plant I have in my house or garden (or farming for that matter)
I grow organic and rarely feed at all
I flush late flower and my plants love it!

But hey if you want to flush by all means do so.
you are the one that felt the need to post?!?!
bunch of you no-flush, low temps, feed until the end idiots
most people like me that actually know how to grow pot won't waste their time arguing with you no-flush idiots
That makes you feel good, calling people names? You're SUPPOSED to be trying to help someone who is in need of it, not criticizing them because they don't know or have the so called experience that you have, so you say... You need to check yourself dude, because your true colors are beginning to show...you are the one that felt the need to post?!?!

Read your plants. It takes time to learn them. ppm pens are nice you can adjust your ppm custom to your needs I rarely go over 900ppm at the end I’m somewhere around 200 ppm.Wait, how do your plants not overfeed? Is that not what nute burn is?
Here’s a task for you find anything on the internet about flushing that doesn’t pertain to weed. Seed companies never seen any good breeders that recommend it. Most nutrient companies want you too because their feeding schedules are so over the top. It’s really personal like many things in the marijuana community. Everyone has that area where they fall into whether it’s how good led bad or flushing not flushing. I go off of actual plant science and if you research mobile and immobile nutrients you’ll find there aren’t many that can be “flushed”. What you want to do is simply reduce the amount over time until the day you chop. The bad taste and poor burning comes from the chlorophyll not being broken down properly, thus the learning to properly dry and cure. The main reason people like to flush is it accelerates the fade or break down of chlorophyll slightly early making people think it’s doing something. However those last two weeks are when the plant needs those nutrients to finish up nice. No other crop regardless of edible crops, or even tobacco for 100 cigars flush. it’s honestly environmentally irresponsible honestly. Your literally wasting water.I get all that , but if seed companies and many people reccomend flushing then why are they all wrong , care to link to anywhere that says flushing does nothing or something bad?
Well i wouldn't say wasting water, i'm giving them the same amount of water just without any nutrients. I do agree it's all personal, but all i wanted on this thread was to know if to start flushing , not whether i should or not. I appreciate your input but i will be flushing regardless as to me personally it makes sense and reading other smokers testimonials it seems they can taste the difference. Here’s a task for you find anything on the internet about flushing that doesn’t pertain to weed. If your not dumping gallons of water through and watering as normal that’s different. What your referring to is leaching which is just watering as normal allowing the plant to take up the nutrients in the soil. Flushing is the stoner art of dumping shit tins of water through your pots.Well i wouldn't say wasting water, i'm giving them the same amount of water just without any nutrients. oooooh i see , sorry then i am misinformed , yeah i should of said leeching then i guess, sorry about that!If your not dumping gallons of water through and watering as normal that’s different. That's like asking for a link explaining why pigs can't fly. It's a made up theory from weed growers that doesn't exist. People believe if you add nutes to soil and the plant absorbs them they must be made of nutrients. They're not, anymore than people are made of orange juice or what ever they ate for breakfast. Here's a link with info on nutrient cycles and how it works.I get all that , but if seed companies and many people reccomend flushing then why are they all wrong , care to link to anywhere that says flushing does nothing or something bad?
I don't plan on curing for long to be honest , once chopped and dried i'll be selling it all pretty much straight away.I'm no pro-grower, and won't claim to be. However, I don't feed my plants near the end of harvest time and I make sure to not overfeed and never had a problem or a reason to flush. The only time I have ever flushed a plant (just recently I might add) is when it had nute lockout from high pH. I almost lost that plant, but after a couple of weeks, the plant bounced back as good as ever. I'm lucky I haven't ever had to flush another plant before this, and I've never had bad chloro-tasting weed. Of course, my dry and curing schedule is strict - Minimum 2 weeks in glass jars after drying. I also don't harvest too early either. I don't know if that helps...I just thought I'd put in my two pennies for what its worth.
