Almost ready to harvest, dont know what to do. Have a few questions.

I had this crazy idea a few months ago that I would plant a cannabis plant near my herb garden. I thought I would pull buds off as needed, just like I pull basil leaves off as needed, but I've learned a lot since then. I live in South Florida, so I don't know anyone else who grows.

I started with bag seeds in a plastic bag with wet paper towels, then moved seedlings to small pots with Home Depot brand potting soil and put them outside. By about eight weeks, i killed the males and was left with one female plant that started flowering on it's own outside at about 10 weeks. It got pretty big pretty fast, so I moved it to a 5 gallon bucket with organic top soil. I learned about light schedules after that and started bringing it into my dark garage 12 - 15 hours nightly.

PROBLEMS:
1. The leaves started turning yellow, then flaky brown.
2. The stems of the leaves are purple on top
3. I don't know exactly how many weeks I've been flowering or what strain I have, so I have no idea when to harvest .
4. I got some jobes organic vegetable and tomato vegetable and tomato granules, but dont know if I should use the full reccomended half cup per gallon or even if it's the right stuff.
5. I'm concerned it's too late to use anything .
6. Is it possible this is auto flowering? Why did it start flowering outside in march/April?
7. When it's time to flush, how do I do it? The original soil it was planted in had time release fertilizer. though that was only 1 gallon and now it's in 5 gallons, I'm concerned that when I flush it I'll burn it .

I took a lot of pictures, any advice anyone has on how to keep it healthy and when to cut it down would be appreciated . Thank you for taking the time to read this .

welcome to RIU @JadeGirl. i don't grow outside but i think your girl has got bugs...maybe thrips? some experienced outdoor RIU members will be along to help you shortly confirm. she looks like she needs at least another four to five weeks, but you do need to get the problem taken care of soon. don't do anything until you know what the problem is for sure because that can just add to your problems.:eyesmoke: imo, Earth Juice Grow/Bloom is good for a novice as it is hard to burn the plant with it. try to get some of that if you can. i grow in soil and i do not flush the plant. good luck with your grow!

Those white marks on your plant look like some sort of insect damage, get a magnifying glass and see if you can spot anything tiny moving around on or under the leafs of your plant.

It's most likely not an auto-flower, it is possible for your plant to show some flowers before going full bloom I think. If you're bringing it inside for 12-15 hours for it to get some dark time then it's going to flower. Photoperiods vegetate under anything more than twelve hours of light and flowering when given twelve or less hours of light. Your plant is looking fine but it may still need some time as I see plenty of white hairs still poking out.

The best way to tell if your plant is ready is to use a loupe or microscope to look at the trichomes of your plant, those little frosty bits if you don't know what I am talking about. Their color can range from clear to milky white to amber. The earliest you could take a harvest would be when the majority of your trichomes are milky white and very few of them are clear. I hope this helps and happy growing.

Ok, I did find some bugs under the leaves, and according to pictures on the Googler, they are Black Root Aphids. I have some "Safer End All Insect Killer" active ingredients are:
Potassium salts a fatty acid's Clarified hydrophobic extract of Neem oil and
Pyrethrins
I read online that it safe to use right up to harvest, so I think I'll give that a shot, but what do I do about the ones that are already eating the roots?
Thanks again!!!

Thanks everyone! I added the nuterients and sprayed yesterday. The bugs are gone, and I might be crazy, but I think the whole plant looks a little greener.
