Almost Ready!!! 2nd Time is Easier!!!!

My 2 small NL's are almost ready. Using plain water for flush. Thanks to all the ROI people for the best info and great discussions.

I learned alot the first time, and this was easy, just have to be patient and let the girls do there thing!!!

I start with 2 105W and 2 40w Cfl's, veg for about 5 weeks, and LST. Then switch to 1 150HPS. I have a small box for height so I need to keep the stretch under control.
Also the pots are small, but they work.
Botanicare nutes at 1/2 strength using their feeding schedule.

I would guess more than 1oz per plant. The NL's are short and bushy, LST works great for more yield. My box is small, I go for quality and this stuff is great.

I am no expert at all. But this is what I do. The seeds are Nirvana NL Fem.

Soil: 50/50 Mix Sunshine +4 Advanced, Fox Farm OF, Perlite, and Dolomite to help with PH.
Start in Red cups, Transplant once to those green pots after the third set of nodes.
Veg is under the CFL 150's & 40's 2 each, in my homemade reflector for 24/0 for 5-6 weeks. Also the soil in the cups is the same in the big pots, so not soil shock.
No Nutes for at least a week or 2 after transplant, the soil has all it needs. When I Nute its 1/4 strength for the first 4 to 5 weeks for VEG, maybe up to 1/2 for week 5 & 6, using Botanicare Grow formula.
When I go 12/12 then no more than 1/2 strength the recommended Botanicare schedule nutes. Plain H20 ever other watering.
I also make sure the pots are light and dry when I am ready to water.

I LST them during VEG, to get more NUGS. Then just be patient and the girls should do fine.
Temps are around 80-83 Day, 65 Night. The reason they are small is my box has its limits because of the height and the 150HPS hanging at the top.


The first 3 pics are week 9, before harvest, the last one is week 4 flower.




I changed all the electrical to outside once I had the setup correct.

they really are gorgeous plants and i am amazed you did that with a 150w hps... i use 2 26w cfls and a 250w hps and my plants look like hell compared to yours... i think next grow i will not lst nearly as much as i have been and i will veg for 5-6 weeks cause god damn i want plants like that.... i only got a half ounce out of the first plant i harvested :-\ was good smoke but shit, it went quick... the thing is that thing was vegged for 5 weeks... and still only got half an i know ill get more with these next 3 plants i have but they dont look nearly as healthy or as fat and dense as yours do im jealous lol

and btw your closet is extremely similar to mine lol

dont feel bad buddy.. it was your first grow? it takes time to get the hang of it. plus what strain did u grow? Nirvana NL is a big yielder. pot size also affects yield alot. what size pots are u using?

alienskull, good looking plants! looks alot like my NL pheno. almost identical actually.

well its actually still my first grow... i started with 4 bagseed 3 turned male 1 female... flowered her started 3 more seed 12/12 from seed... all 3 female.. so had 4 females. all 4 plants are/were in 3 gallon pots... i harvested the one plant and got a half zip off it and have the other 3 12/12 from seed bagseed about 5 weeks into flower and they look amazingly tasty but the fan leaves are doing the same thing as the first plant i grew// purple/yellow then die.. i harvested that first plant with practically zero fan leaves left and i feel the same exact thing is happening to the other plants it has to be my lack of experience with nutes im assuming. yeild will be shit lackluster at best which now that i look closer will probably be about a half O from the 12/12 from seed girls same as my 5 week vegged lst'd and already harvested and smoked girl lol.. sorry alien i definitely am not trying to hijack your thread bro.. but im very excited and willing to grow plants like yours with my 250w hps lol im determined damnit!!

its probably just the bagseed genetics. get some proper genetics, you wont be disappointed.
