So I live in the midwest and if you read the news we had a bunch of tornados week. So let me take you through my "experience." I am at work and there are reports on the news about tornados touching down, and already one person had died. It just happened to be my lunch hour so I headed home as usual. When I walk in the door the sirens all over town start to blare! I looked outside real quick and the skys were dark and very low. I grabbed my 2 cats and husky and took them down to the basement. Locked them up in rooms and headed back upstairs. Now for the crazy part....
When I reach the top of the stairs there is pounding on my door? WTF? So i open it up and there are my 3 co-workers(one is my direct boss) waiting to come inside and take shelter. I guess there houses are way far away and the our work building is all glass with no basement. I invite them in and point to the basement. Next thing I know we are all downstairs watching the news with live coverage following the 3 tornados that have touched down around town. Now let me explain, my basement is rather large. It has a pool table, living area, full bar, two bedrooms, a laundry room, and bathroom. After about 15 minutes pass, my co-workers start to look around as if bored. One asks what is that light in that room?
Out of nowhere I just tell them the cats are locked up in there and to not let them out or they'll run away. The all say they hate cats and play some pool. WOW. We ended up leaving after about 30 minutes when the storm had passed and headed back to work. To think that I had 3 people within feet of my grow operation is just crazy.I mean a 430W HPS Son Agro light is extremely bright and has an orange tint. That night I lit up the fattest blunt to celebrate my small victory haha.
-P.S.- Cats can come in handy!
