As far as I'm aware legally a plant is a plant. There is no difference in the eyes of the law between a plant 10" tall and 10' tall. My lawyer has never once mentioned to me plant sizes. Cops try to pretend that some clones they pull up are worth $5k a piece. That happens all the time. I've never heard of anyone getting busted for having too big of plants when they stayed within their plant limits.

Just saying that once you are in court.. and argueing that the amount you are growing is for personal use... and you have some 4 lb each (say 30x) plants.. hard to argue that one person can use 120 lbs of marijane in a year. I really dont know, common sense just says its gunna be an uphill battle. I guess you can argue that you didnt know you had such a green thumb.. and the plants got bigger than I thought

The quantification of plants..... Wasn't there a recent case out here where there was a huge payout because they had court records of one officer testifying in expert capacity that each clone/seedling or small plant, I forget the specifics, was worth five grand or some such? This recorded and accepted valuation was then used when a local law enforcement office then destroyed state legal plants? I thought that was the case that they use to tell the investigating officers to no longer argue about the relative valuation of plants? I could be very wrong so please take this with a huge grain of salt.

well i have goten pulled over with a half a pound and had my script n it given back buy a police officer i also have a cuzin who is a sheriff he doesnt care about medicine he care about meth or real lawbreaking thats y i kinda cant hate cops because i love him like a brother i look up to him... but on the other had they have raided my local med store its my friends n they took everything he got a lawer n well the lawer asked for 2000 dollars for advice n was told to let it go... he called the detective in long beach n was told they wont press charges but they have to let the product go... another friend had 68 plants he had like ten outside that just reaked also same store had patients scipts from the medical store n the officers walked in looked around with a search warent opened books and left him go told him we r very sorry please mask the smell because its causing a disturbance disturbing the peice you have to be more carefull thank u.. have a nice... well a few days passed n the social services knocked on the door they took his kids because the house was atached to the grow room no lock n medicine laid around the house he doesnt grow anymore but i dont know what happend to him real nice guy wouldnt hurt a fly kinda like a gronola kid all natural products no artificial kemicals realy nice guy.... what i think is you nevor know what kind of human will see your situation.... their are all kinds of humans in every department n every place i just hope u are within guid lines and that the human looking at your situation is just...... thats all i have herd of, me i have one light thats all i need.... their in the avi learn how to yeild better with small numbers n everything will be okay.... good luck dude....

That's strait up thievery. People don't believe cops do shit like that, but it happens.

Not very cool is it. There have been some raids in Ontario on med gardens and they take first and ask later, scare tactics and intimidation. Where I we seen this before

Im not talking evaluations of clones or small plants.. these guys are getting busted with full size plants.. and they know how to grow. Actuall wieghts... pounds and pounds.. not dollar and cents.

Yes I understood you. That was my point. Many people seem to be under the illusion that there is some magic number, size, weight etc... That makes you legal or safe or that these 'policy' statements given by the federal government make any difference. Policy statements can change just as quick as you can type another memo. The currently closing dispensaries are a good example of a federal policy shift. They were fine a few months ago and now they are not but not 1 law has changed only federal policy.

Marijuana is a Schedule 1 drug under the controlled substances act. Until that is changed any of us can be at risk they can use CPS and DPHS . That is why it is so important we don't accept the mere illusion of legality that we currently have and lobby for full legalization and re-schedulization until that occurs we are all at risk.

Until then we need to be careful and discreet.

Just lawyer up to be safe. They have been doing this ALOT lately, just basically stealing all the equip, destroying all the plants, and bouncing. Its much more cost effective for them especially when juries usually acquit cannabis offenders; especially in cali and especially if you have proof of being legitimate. This is the same thing they are doing to collectives also; smash and grab. No charges even being filed for the majority. Don't get me wrong; that SUCKS big time but i just feel like you're most likely in the clear. Sorry to hear about this all the same though Good luck out there.

A Lawyer will probably get you off but the pain is going to be enormous. No such thing as a safe number. cops are dicks and will cause whatever pain they feel they need to extract to save society from you. No skin off their nose.
