All you Sativa lovers .........

Question for ya:

I've only ever tried a Sativa a hand full of times. You simply do not see much of it going around where I'm from. I got a hold of some Cinderella 99 this past weekend and was very excited to spark it up. Man, was I dissapointed!!

My recollection of the Sativas that I tried in the past (Kali-Mist, Mango Haze & AK-47) were ones of wonderful, blissful highs. Almost a bit of an opiate effect with them. I didn't find Cinderella 99 to be anything like that.

My question is, did I just get some bunk weed, or are the other Sativas I referenced above just simply a superior, and all together different product?

Also, I did some research on this Cindy 99, and discovered a VERY short flowering time (8 weeks). I was under the impression that a TRUE Sativa takes much longer to flower?????

that sucks bro i feel for ya, in my opinion the quality of marijuana has gone down in the last few years it seems like, the stone doesnt seem to be as strong and taste and smell varies from place to place. im a cali medi patient so i have access to a lot of different strains, some shops even have some of the same strains so you can compare the two. And what i think is that some commercial growers are just in it for the money, they just wanna get paid as much as they can with as little resources as possible. Some growers i think dont put enough love and care into there crop and the end results show. I used to pick up from the clinic back in the day when i was a lil stoner on special occasions, and let me tell you it was a very special treat when i got to pick up meds. I suggest growing your own, then you can control the outcome... So there's my piece, but then again you may have just gotta a shitty bag this time, we've all been there......

p.s. i just finished up a AK-47 grow, there drying right now, cant wait to try it, should be a gnarly sativa

if you have space to grow big sativas..do it...otherwise indicas will give you a better yield.

Thanks for the replies folks. I'm kinda thinking I got a shitty bag ............ but what I was really asking was if anyone has smoked C99, AND has also had experience with something like Kali-Mist, a good Haze, etc (some other type of good Sativa), and could maybe tell me if C99 is just an inferior strain to those others, or if it's comparable to other good Sativas and I just happened to get a poorly grown bag.

I've tried C99 twice, and I can honestly say it's at least in my top 3 favorite strains I've tried. Picked it up from 2 different California clubs though, maybe you just got some that hasn't been taken care of like it should.

Have you tried C99, and if so how does it compare to your favorites?

there is gunna be "bunk buds" everywhere you go. like these guys were trying to say... it's never really the STRAIN of weed that is bunk, but the person growing it didn't give the plant the love it diserved. (didn't cure, didn't fully dry, no nutes, too much nutes/water) WHO KNOWSS!!!?? I, myself have tried c99 and it was a VERY good high. THC crystals alll over the buds. like the previous post said... "you just got a shitty bag" lol

LOL!! I understand what you're saying. I very much agree that it's possible to get a bag of shit no matter what strain you're dealing with!! You have to consider that I have only ever tried a handful of true Sativa strains, and I'm looking for someone who has smoked any of the strains I've referenced above (Kali-mist, Mango Haze, & AK-47), AND has also smoked C-99. I would like to hear .......... "yes, I've smoked Kali-Mist, and I've tried C99 and the Kali Mist is a far superior high" ..........or ......... "Yes, I've smoked Mango Haze, and I've smoked C99 and they were a very similar high, so I'd say you just got a bad bag".

So far nobody has done that (although I do appreciate the feedback).

Indicas have a better yield, but satvias and indicas also give two different types of highs

yeah man, some of those serious sativas are like a whole other substance lol sometimes they make me uncomfortable, make my heart beat too fast and too loud haha

I've tried plenty of c99 and it's very good. I agree and think you got some inferior product. But I must say that nothing beats a fully ripe Kali Mist. Probably my fave sativa of all time.

Ive done a few different derivatives of bros grimms c99,s about 25 seeds in total and they all finished in 56 days,but it was not a sativa high by any stretch of the imagination,yes one may have had some speed to it but to me that doesn't make it a sativa,i like a high not my heart going beserk,but to be honest i dont find it much different then grapefruit.but cant really say that your going to get much head high out of anything less then 10 weeks and even that is pushing it.but depends what you call sativa,the market is flooded with 8 week indicas that a lot of young people never had a proper sativa,but ive found a 10 week ak47 that was fairly up,but not like a 100 day kali mist,or an 11 week nepalese,but hey i hear people say c99 is it,just i never found it or smoked it.

I probably did get a some poorly grown stuff .................. cuz it was nothing like the Kali-Mist that I had years ago!! I can't wait to grow some of that beautiful ganja!!

I tend to agree with you. As I said in the origional post, I haven't tried many Sativas, but I'm starting to think that in order to experience a "true" sativa, you need to be dealing with something that has a 12+ week flowering time (Kali Mist, Mango Haze, etc).

BINGO!! That's about the only thing I was able to feel from the C99 (a racing heart). It made me quite anxious, racing heart, paranoid ............ nothing good!

i'd call whoever you got it from and demand a refund!!!! lol. that's why i love prop 215

Anything with c99 in it makes me want to run a marathon. I smoked some Space Queen a while back and felt like I drank a case of Red Bull. I love Sativas though. C99 just tweaks me out too much.
