Hey all,

Like many this season, my plants preflowered very early, then they look like they went back into veg state as they were throwing out a lot of single bladed leaves while preflowering. Looks like they started budding, pushing out tricomes. Should i worry at all?

thanks

Maybe.
If the new leaves "rams horn" , than the light change (days getting longer after the plant starts flowering) is confusing the plant.

Basically, it will start to re-veg then realize the days are getting shorter and start to flower.

Veg-flower-veg-flower...thus the confusion and "rams horning" .

In many strains this will cause hermaphrodites.

they were always in veg state, they were just mature, they didnt start revegging on you, they kept vegging until the cycle started changing downwards and triggered flowering. It's all completely normal. You have nothing to worry about.

Mine also preflowered really early and just started to revert back to veg, the plant was stunted for a month or so. I am also seeing singled bladed leaves but also seeing good signs of new growth. I would't worry much, the plant knows what to do. I included some pics of mine so you could get an idea of where mine is in relation to reveging. Good luck fellow farmer.

Thanks for all the advice...my worry is that the bud/tricomes that have already been pushed out will go to shit, causing all new buds and tricomes to go to shit.

:(

Naaah, that's not going to happen. At worst it might sprout a couple of male flowers. If that happens gently pick them off before they open. Don't give up.

word thanks for the kind words everyone. At worst, this is just a bizarre learning experience :) my purple kush plant outside has EXPLODED with buds, some of the pistils are already crispy. Worse case scneario, harvest a bit early and have some flowery tasting bud ;)
