it takes time to root 1-2 weeks...some will wilt a bit...patience... don't assume they are dead just because they droop.
watch and learn...but you have to let em do there thing, can be stressful for them first couple of days.

i like that.humidity is the key, make sure there is hardly any air getting to the clones for first couple of days. still to this day i have some wilt the first day but by the second they are all standing pretty. the air wont hurt them or nothin but to keep the humidity over 90% they need to be completely covered. ..... just for a couple days then you can start lettin a lil bit of air in there everyday till they root.
also dont forget that on a healthy plant , clones are are a dime a dozen. i throw more away on purpose then i use just to keep the mother small an manageable.

I figure it takes some practice. I don't want to keep cutting and cutting and cutting and cutting until there is nothing left of my plant though. As for the clone that actually did die. If I could show you a pic. You could confirm it was dead. It shriveled up and wilted way over and became a dark green color and was almost stiff.

and yah i totally agree mellokitty.. the over complication of the process, just makes for problems... its so simple once yah got it lol
and another thing ive found that really helped for getting higher success rates, (i use trays/domes) is taking Alot of cuttings at once.. eg ill make 24-48 clones in a single 10x20 tray...
it makes it simplier as that amount of cuttings, maintains the moisture level right where it should be all by itself... i dont have to touch my trays for the first 7 days... after that its just spray them once or twice a day... 1/2 the time in that 7 days.. a good 50% are already showing roots!

well you just confirmed a "myth" i had in my head. if i only fill half the tray up it seems to take longer to root, but if i fill the tray all the way up it will only take 4 or 5 days to root.2nd person to quote me in a sig in the last couple weeks

one thing i've noticed is that my success rate jumped when i stopped spraying the clones themselves and started spraying the dome to keep the humidity up.....

also: after day 3 or so, i like to air the trays out momentarily -- just lift the dome and put it back -- although some strains don't really like the stagnant air and want to be aired out sooner than that. if i have wilters after 24 hours, this generally helps them.

exactly what i do. this gets them ready for the much lower humidity on the "outside". as the days pass , i let more an more air in.

I just could not believe my eyes that my friends, whom I do not even know, only on here, would be by the side of those who are hurting so very much.
