Boss !

Those plants under the 6er look huge! Is that the GG4 right ?
Yeah Brother Eddie the two bigger girls are the GG#4 gonna see if I can pull a 1/2 per plant on those two girls just for shits and giggles. :bigjoint:

I'm hoping the Raptors are good enough at spreading out the light that the 1200 watts will be enough. I still feel like there should be a third light in the middle............some of these AutoCob's might do well to mix the spectrums and add light I will be considering this in the future after I see the quality and yields just the (2) 600's give me...........

Why did you dislike the 4K Qb ?

It's just made the girls grow shorter and tighter than I would like, the Citizen 1212 COB's in 6500K did a much better job with half the watts.............my COB's in the 3x3 are Citizen 1812 in 3500K both are my favorite COB's I have used to date and the 6500K does really similar to my 600 watt Blue MH...............My debate right now for the veg tent is whether to leave the 600w Blue MH, go to a 315 CMH, or slap (4) of the 6500K COB's in there............... :wall:

For the time being the 3500K's in the 3x3 are going no where they're frost monsters but the plants will stretch a decent amount if they want to. These single engine COB's are a blessing in that you can very easily adjust placement and distance to canopy, and very easy to add or remove them one at a time..................

When you are always running different strains like me at different times in life cycle this is golden. Hope that answers enough (:

Do you have links to the spectral graphs?

I purchased some Vero7s and from what I saw on their sheets was the 3000K and the 4000K to be the best picks of all spectrums.

Here you go:

https://cobshop.net/shop?olsFocus=false&olsPage=products/almost-complete

https://cobshop.net/shop?olsFocus=false&olsPage=products/autocob-6500k

I wanted to flowering COB's to be 4K as I am willing to sacrifice the amount of red you lose vs the amount of Blue you gain but he only had 3500K in stock at the time I purchased. I am very happy with the 3500K lights and if I get more for full run or flower they will be 35000K again. However for "veg only" I prefer the 6500K.

I learned from old school HID guys and thus why I run the Blue MH for veg and the Super HPS for flower. I am trying to apply the same logic with the LED's and their Spectrums........so far have not been disappointed.

Oh yea, the Citizen 3000K and 2700K are super weak compared to other companies. The 4000K looks outstanding in the blue but very weak in red compared to others as well.

I didn't see the 6500K?

If I went with Citizen instead of Bridgelux I'd definitely use the 3500K and 4000K based on these graphs.

I like to mix spectrums though, vegetation will have more blue while flowering has more red, yet they still get all of it.

got it hung, still need to duct it. been a fuck of a week. almost got called to emergency volunteer service for the evacuees, school has been hell, started 40 jars of mushrooms, got a haircut, dropped my camera and had to send it out for repair, trying to troubleshoot my arduino timer that controls all my pumps, going through a closet full of shit to donate, and on and on and....

I don't post many pics at all and just wanted to share a little, I won't make a habit of sharing in your thread. And since I won't be starting my own thread any time soon, just a couple after finally getting the new light up.

sorry for the color, my camera hasn't come back yet, this is from phone. Neglected them too long and one of the two in back grew into the light and burnt a bud tip on the far right back. Looks like it might not be so bad it won't recover a little, but those two are the unknown strains from Ace seeds and unless this new 1K really improves their performance, this is about the last of them. The two front right are new, Nirvana AK48, along with far left front which is just barely showing pistils so all three must be female, 3/3. The far left back is new, Vashon early girl freebie and is also just barely showing pistils 1/3 so far with two still in veg or clone. Three that I really am chomping at the bit over are still in veg and haven't even had cuttings taken yet. The other two early girl clones are rooted and the plants they came from are about to get flipped, especially now that I have the new big light hung.

the veg tent is getting out of hand, as soon as the last few I am interested in get some branches I can take for cuttings, I will move a couple more into flower. All the ones in pots are either getting culled, given away/sold, or a few will go outside when they get bigger. Since I got the leds out of the flower tent, I have one I will move to a closet and use that for some of the potted plants that will go outside. Far left are the newly rooted clones, not sure why I take so many every time, I always expect some to fail and for the last few years, I haven't lost a single damn one, getting out of hand. the back row are still waiting to be cloned and then moved to flower. Hope it happens before they get to much bigger. Let the lights get a little too close to these as well but no real harm

and just for shits and giggles, these are the tanks I throw over my shoulder and tote through the yard two at a time whether they are full or empty every time I need more co2. Easy peasy. Hell, if they're empty, I can usually even put the third one under an arm and only make one trip.

I can't wait to get my camera back and get color corrected pics though it's gonna suck going back and forth between the leds and hps and having to white balance every time.

The CMH, would veg fine. I think it's better in flower. It brings out colors, even if you have run the strain before, it will look completely different under the CMH.

If jar appearances matter the CMH is nice to run, even if it's just the last 3 weeks.

TY for your input :hump:

Side bar- Just jotting this down here for myself. The Hubba Bubba Smelliscope are on day 20 from sprout today and they were topped yesterday. Leaving this here to reference back if I need to later. I gave 2 of the 6 to a local buddy who is a disabled vet, helping him get going to produce his own meds and he keeps hounding me for age of the plants LOL. I stopped doing that and just look at trichs when plants are ready but w/e. Anyways hope everyone has a good day.

I got him setup with (2) AutoCobs in his 2x3 and we are going to hack his mars hydro lights with Citizen COB's as he is tight on $$ right now. As we get him going I might take some pics here and there if he lets me we will see.

what is normal running temps for the top side of the slate 2 260 watt?

its a little warm here, 82f, the heat sink is running at 107-109f on top over the QB's

my cob's are at 91f but they have and active fan.

I never measured the temps on my sinks but they did run warm much more so than the cobs. Sorry I can't be of more help with this maybe ask in the QB thread?

Just finished working in the garden tonight. Everyone was watered in soil and the girls still in Coco got fed with their watering as did the Autos in the COB tent. Tomorrow I should have the second 3x3 up and running and then I can move the hubba bubba in there with a plant or two and up pot the rest to 10 gallon pots like their siblings. Some random pics starting to get my garden back how I'm use to having it and that makes me happy :)
