They would be WAAYYYYYYYYYYYY past that.
We have Mescaline, LSD, Psylocybin, 2c-X, 5-MeO-X, And MANY MANY more.
They would have drugs closer to the number of uses we have for corn, or peanuts
And their planet would probably be more drug related in general
That would probably be the reason for an ENTIRE species to learn to be that way
