Algae

im worried as my rtockwool cubes have got a layer of algae on the top im aware you can buy white squares to fit the top of your cube but i was just wondering if it will harm my plant in anyway

It probably won't hurt them. I use a lot of perlite and the top layer exposed to light always develops a green algae tinge. I haven't noticed any tangible side effects.
