Algae on top of coco, is this a problem?

This is my very first coco grow, and I've never experienced anything like this with soil. My girls are about a week old, and for the past couple of days I've noticed very very tiny amounts of what I assume is algae forming on the top of the coco. By small I mean, at it's biggest, the size of the tip of a standard pen. I am assuming it is algae because I am using age old liquid kelp which is a form of algae, and I use it in my watering mixture, which is why I am speculating that that is where it came from. I'd take a picture but the formations are too small for my shitty camera.

Is this a problem? Has anyone else experienced anything like this before?

On a side note, it's ok to water with liquid kelp mixed in with my nutes, right?

Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Add H2O2 to the solution or put it in a spray bottle.I use a tsp per gal at the most.Plant's are not effected in any way because it is still an Oxygen Atom with an extra Hydrogen Bump.Kills all fungus and mold...

h2o2 is emergency use only imo. coco works better when you have a bit of life in the medium, no need to bleach it now.

what coco and nutes are you using?

Guys could it be trichodoerma? We get some bags of sunshine that have green algae looking shit on the medium, but according to the company it's the trichoderma...

fuck i get mushrooms growing in mine, as long as the plants are good i'm happy.

i regularly have white webbing on the top of the coco too, it looks like fuzzy mould but it's just the coco doing it's thing. i'm into the fifth cycle in the same coco now, i barely use any nutrients.
