He was instrumental in the merger of the AFL and the NFL leagues creating the first Superbowl.

I know. I couldn't believe it when I heard the news. He was looking real healthy too.

I think he looked way older then 82.What he have skin cancer?

He helped break down color barriors. He hired the first NFL black head coach (Art Shell) back when it was unheard of.
He also was the first to put a woman (Amy Trask) in charge at such a high level (football operations?

Personally I hope I don't make it to 82. 70ish would be nice.
