AK48 Taking REAL Long to Finish

I'm growing one of Nirvana's AK-48. It's been nearly three months since I flipped the lights to 12-12.

Although at first it looked like it was growing quickly (which seems to be the case for AK-48) it just seems to be stagnent and I don't know what to do.

I'm using 3 2-foot T5 tubes along with 10 CFLs. Temp's around 78-80 when the lights are on.

Just seems like those white hairs don't want to recede. The crystals under a scope are all foggy (and have been for a while) but no ambers are appearing.

I've been telling myself to give it one more week for over a month now.

For nutes I'm using the GH Series - 5ml of Micro, 10ml of Flora and 1ml of Floralicious Plus per gallon of water.

This is my third plant I've grown (first AK-48). My last was Blue Mystic, which should have taken longer to ripen than the AK, but finished earlier than this current one.

Last week the plant yellowed a lot and I thought it was beginning to get close, but then this week those leaves got a bit greener, while the buds (although getting more swollen) doesn't seem to be closer to finishing. The buds seem to be a bit less crystally as well, compared to a month ago.

Am I doing something wrong?

Anyone else have this problem?

My Blue Mystic needed about 80 days from 12-12 to finish. And the growing room hasn't changed, so I have no idea what this plant is taking forever.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use gravity it speeds up the finish. Also try to go hps floros are only good for veg. At least from my experience...

What do you mean "use gravity"

I am using red-hue CFLs, 27k spectrum. Not ideal of course, but for the space I'm in its the only way. And it's worked great for the first two rounds that I did.

let the plant tell you when its ready. its looks good, in fact it looks almost done. does seem like its decided to start flowering again as it was nearly ready. try reducing the light hours to 11/13. seen that help quite a few people to finish a plant off as it thinks its almost time to die.

Some strains will finish without making amber hairs.. That being said, you need a scope. Do you have one? The trichomes will let you know when to harvest. How do you like your smoke/buzz? If you wanna stay on your couch and not move, keep it going. If you wanna get around and do stuff, get a scope and cut her soon. Stop feeding her nutes too. 'N' has been known to delay or slow flowering at times. Besides you wanna stop feeding and flush anyway

Thanks for the reply. As I mentioned in a previous post above, yes, I've been looking under a scope. It's nearly all foggy, no amber. Plant just seems to have stopped progressing for the last couple weeks or so.

I extended the dark period by an hour last night.

I started lessening the nutes a week ago, and the plant quickly yellowed, so I upped it again and it's getting back its green.

u dont want green, N can lengthen the flowering times. the plant will turn yellow as you flush it. it uses up all its remaining stores then proceeds to die. thats when you need to keep your eye on it

I had the same issue with AK 48 the first time i ran it! didnt look like she was ready. At 70 days i said piss on it and pulled her! Shit put you directly to sleep. The trichs never went amber just cloudy. The next run as soon as they were 75% cloudy I harvested and wow what a difference it made.(49 days) This is some really good shit, I have tested between 40 days and 55 days and right around 48 is where it is best! But the key is the trichs get a lope and start looking at them on day 40! 75% cloudy and shes ready to roll. Also feed the hell outa them mine love the nutes! Also you might have a off pheno and it might take longer not sure how consistant the strain is!

Dude I had the same problem back before I fixed my temp issues. It was like 18 weeks of 12-12 and I finally just went ahead and harvested her early. The product smoked nice anyway.
I fixed my temps to start staying in the lower 70s. Maybe try keeping your temps in the lower 70s. It just might work for you like it did for me.
