AK Ryder Project: Seed Harvesting

Hello everyone, I've begun my AK Ryder project. Details of the project will follow. Here are some basics to start.

Today I've begun spraying the lower node with Tiersias Mist. I just did a few pulses because I didn't wanna risk overspraying at such a young age. The way I did it was take a plastic sandwich bag (like the kind we usually keep our weed in ) and put it over the top of the plant, while leaving the lower node exposed. And that is what I misted (the lower node). There was a bit of excess TM that got within the sandwich bag that might of touched the upper node a bit, but I don't think enough to cause that to mutate.

Anyways, here is an update pic of Destiny at 14 days old sprayed with Tiersias Mist for the first time. Notice how the lower leaves are a bit wet? That's from the TM.

Project Details:

I will be attempting to create Auto-Feminized seeds with the use of Tiersias Mist. I will begin spraying the lower nodes beginning on Day 14 (today) for 21 days.

Other Info:

I was planning on doing it the way Trousers did it by using multiple plants, but I have seen another method that creates an asexual plant that will pollinate itself. That is what I will be attempting; and if it doesn't work out, I'll maybe be left with either some pollen to collect and/or some bud to smoke, all while only risking one seed.

This is the 8th day of spraying the lower nodes with Tiersias Mist. Plant still looking healthy all around. Just not that much vertical growth for the last week (prolly cuz of the Tiersias Mist). Will keep you guys posted.

Today is the 11th day of spraying Destiny with TM. My bottle is getting low. I know I have enough for at least 3 more days to make it a full 2 weeks, but I was hoping I could have gone up to 21 days. Oh well, we'll see what comes from it I guess. Bye for now.

Today I've sprayed Destiny with Tiresias Mist for the 12th consecutive day. Lower half of plant is wilting (because of the TM) but all leaves are as healthy as can be.

*My TM bottle is getting really low. There's only enough for 2 more days which will make it 14 days of spraying in total. The bottle recommends doing it for 14-21 days, but at least I'm within the recommended range. Let's see what comes from this.........

Hey guys, it's been a while since I updated you on Destiny's progress. I was able to spray her with TM for 14 days before the bottle ran out. Didn't know what to make of it, so I continued to grow her as usually. After a res change alot of her bigger fan leaves started turning yellow. But I just kept growing her as usual. Keep in mind that this is the 2nd time I've ever grown in dwc and my first time I had the same yellowing problem. Probably a PH or nute problem. I do have testers btw but my ph tester is pretty crappy and isn't digital like the ppm reader. I use GH MaxiGro and Bloom (mostly Bloom for autos). So for anyone that recognizes what the culprit could be that turns the leaves yellow, I'd love to hear your advice.Now onto the good news. Save the best for last right? Okay so the good news is the project is going as planned (with the exception of the fan leaves yellowing). A few days back I checked up on her and found male flowers!!!!!! Whoohoo!!! TM worked!!!! Now each day I've been checking Destiny more and more male flowers are showing up and looking healthy. More good news...... The top cola has female flowers or pistils.I will be attempting wind pollination with this one single plant to create asexual seeds. I will put a plastic bag over Destiny and shake the plant so everything in the bag mixes together.... Pollen and pistils. Not sure when I'll start maybe in a week to let the balls develop some more. Then I'll do that for about 2 weeks then the rest should all be history.Pics coming soon

Okay, I took some new pics but I'm not getting all the features on RIU to allow me to upload new pics. I don't even see the part that allows me to change the font and text size when I go advanced. Is this a bug? I've tried with Chrome and Firefox which have worked in the past.

It's the AK Ryder by World Of Seeds. I can't remember exactly what it's crossed with but I think it is AK47 x Lowryder.
