Anyone grow out the NL5 Haze and get any "bleeding" phenos? I ended up with 2/3 males that have that trait. Just curious how prevalent it is in that line.

Anyone know any insight on Hillside Strangler?

I have a freebie pack from AKBB thats Cluster Fuck x Hillside Strangler. Got the deets on the CF but even after extensive googling I still havent found much on the Strangler side. Thinking about running them outdoors

To clarify, I’ve got the 68 Santa Cruz x m48 that I’m popping.

it’s going to be interesting, should be flowering then early April.

any info on the m48 flowering time?
I can advise on the original SSSC M48. I scanned an old catalogue this morning. It's about 8 weeks, as I'm growing some now. It's bloody good. Happy to provide more info, if I have it.
Australia.

M48 should be a inbred version of nevils southafrican x haze c. He won one of the cups with it around 88-90 and then sssc took it on. It was really really good as a f1, dont know how it was after that. You'll have to let us know.

This (Australian) season i grew 3 M48'S F3 from 1990 SSSC seeds stock (2 females - reg seeds). I'll let ya know after harvest. Really enjoyed the F1 back in the day.
What do we know about Haze C?

Woah, 8 weeks is crazy - I thought it was going to flower forever since it had so much haze in it.

I guess I also thought it was haze x (South African x haze)

thanks for the info!

Grew AKBB Williams Wonder. I don't know where the hell he got that from, but it's nothing like any William's I've ever seen. Short almost autoflower type growth structure. They all had a light, slightly fruity, smell and once harvested nearly all of them were straight Hay. Smoked like trash, utter trash. I don't believe any of his BS after growing these out.
What is Williams Wonder supposed to be like?

I seen misty old school mountain freshener ones over the years like the one Rezdog used in his Firecracker seeds. Also danker old school skunky variations like Rez's but more NL in smell. Not like NL but in that direction. But never was it autoflower plants that finish at 2ft tall FROM SEED like some kinda auto/photo hybrid made with unselected Hay trash parents. I can't believe people grow this shit and think it's legit.

Here's a couple of snippets from the SSSC 1988 catalogue. Short plants were definitely to be expected. And, fwiw, the new SSSC Creeper auto uses genetics from a Williams Wonder pheno which appears to have had auto character. Will find the reference and post soon.
As for herm's, it seems that some varietals are prone to it. This could be one.
I bought 20 seeds, years ago but never grew them out after I was arrested for weed.

Thanks for the data point, I was thinking of running some AKBB gear indoor this summer, but I think I’m gonna go with the beatrix or the BOEL Oaxaca x dwarf Oaxacan now with the Williams bad review.

I'd go with their description and ask for my money back if not 100% happy after growing it out, if you have capacity and patience.
I'm still happy with SSSC, after all the years. Still a happy customer. The most recent pleasant purchase is the Frosty Friday.
@originalphenohunters , The WW is no longer in their catalogue/ website, so maybe it doesn't meet modern expectations.
Food for thought.
