Hey y'all, here's a bit more on the last run and a new run of plants I started last night after harvest.
I started the last run with a few special projects, one being the AKBB Chocolate Thai. I had some clones I created from JCS Hawaiian sativa, PSB Cannatonic, PSB Nordle CBD, PSB Harle-Tsu, AKBB freebies from Heritage (Deathstar x ACC RKS),and Seed City Cherry Pie that were included in the run with AKBB Chocolate Thai.
I usually start seeds, then at about 12 inches, top the plants, then take clones from the top nodes after a few weeks of node growth. Since the plants are forced to concentrate their efforts to nodal growth, these a produce nice clones with a long "leg". I then transfer the clones to another tent to get roots and continue growing them to about 12 inches of nodal height, all the while keeping the "mother" from seed to keep the clones coming.
I then put the clones into the flower tent to determine sex, usually within a few days to a week, removing males, unless I have a breeding project in mind.
Breeding projects from Spring 2023 include:
RSC Tashkurgan Male x RSC Afghan mix random female(smelled of berries)- here know as Tashkurgan x Afghani.
RSC Tashkurgan Male x New420Guy Post Traumatic Purple - Tashkurgan x PTP
RSC Tashkurgan Male x AKBB NL#5 Haze
RSC Tashkurgan Male x Kalashnikov Kubansky Ubitzya (Cuban Killer)
RSC Tashkurgan Male x Seed City Bruce Banner freebie
RSC Tashkurgan Male x Seedman Alaskan Purple
Exotic Alchemy Lambsbread Male x TLT Iraqi Babylon(from the province I was deployed)
Exotic Alchemy Lambsbread Male x Kubansky Ubitzya
Most projects of mine are looking to create unique genotypes with the goal of some medicinal value in the effects.
Lambsbread x Iraqi Babylon will hopefully be praise God sativa meets coffee-like bowel movement stimulation. This cross produced dark purple bud calyxes with lime green yellow pistils, very unique plant. Pictures attached.
So, this year my goal was to grow out some of the 2023 crosses and explore the different phenotypes presented in my indoor environment. I am not looking to sell anything knowing that these are just raw F1s and realistically I understand the amount of time to work the lines, which I don't have. That being said, I am really interested in exploring the lines to find some unique keepers and in the interests of crowdtesting, I have previously exchanged some seeds to other growers at the 2023 SLV Seed Exchange. I only hope it can change someone's life one day.
Curently, I have this list in flower tent, trying out some new breeders/seedbanks/stuff I'm interested in;

In all of my tents I use an adapted version of the StinkBud aeroponic Rubbermaid tote system, in the Harvest a Pound Every Three Weeks thread here on RIU, thank you StinkBud!!! I use Ecoflow 360s, Art-Dne or IGS011 cycle timers to spray the roots for 60 seconds every 15 minutes. I have learned to turn the sprayer manifolds to point the mister heads down instead of up to prevent the leaks from the Rubbermaid lids, and after about 3 years of trial and error with other anti-leak methods, this method has worked really well.
Thanks for reading, hope this inspires you.
Green gardens and positive vibes to you all.
