AK 47 with 8 x 600w lights FOX FARM and Dyna Gro

I've been on roll it up for a couple years and have yet to make a journal. So i went ahead and got a new account, basement, and lights! to go with my second operation's first grow.

Ok so i ordered seeds from attitude but while those are still on the way i started to germ about 40 or so AK 47 seeds that were all free from my buddy since he accidentally got a male plant

So while i grow my main seeds up to be big strong mothers im just going to do a first harvest with all seed grown Ak47. I germed them all in paper towels and have just now started planting the ones that were successful. so last night i planted about 28 of the seeds in ocean forest and stuck them in the veg room to get ready.

so heres what i got....

Fox farm nutes....(tiger bloom, grow big, big bloom)
dyna gro nutes.....(gro,bloom,protekt,magpro)
Fox farm ocean forest soil
Root organics soil
8 inch inline fan for intake in both rooms
panda film for walls and ceilings
pond liner for floor

VEG room:
400w hps
2 x 4ft t5 fluorescents with 2 bulbs in each
4 inch inline exhaust
Air-1 temp/humidity controller (controls intake and exhaust fans)

FLower room:
8 x 600w hps ballasts (bought the cheap ipower ones)
went with cheap ballasts to afford the air cooled hood for them as heat could be a potential problem
4in centrifugal fan
10in centrifugal fan both for exhaust
4 x 20 amp circuits installed around room for sufficient power

heyyyy its been about a week since ive updated this and im so happy to say that all the little aks are still alive and well! got a couple pics of those
my sour vortex and WWAK mother plants are getting pretty mature now too
they look like their getting ready to be cloned so heres whats goodie

i sure do!!!! haha i hate waiting for the first harvest after starting over... it feels like its been years since i got to see pretty buds a booming

hey guys i havent updated this thread in a minute due to the holidays
MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone!!!! and a HAPPY NEW YEAR

definitely have some progress in the room. with all the lights in the veg room i also have 2 600w on right now in the flowering room(im using it as a veg room still tho) so far i have all the ak's still alive and well and all well over 6 inches tall. Im gonna flower at a foot so i cant wait til they get there. i put up my 4in inline exhaust with the carbon filter on it to help the heat in the flower room so now its staying constantly under 80 so its good to go

\im about to be putting up two more of the 600w hps lights cuz they are outgrowing the lights they are under. so ill be posting a couple pics of those sooner or later. also got some clones from the WWxAK and also the sour vortex so we will see how those go and also planted some seeds they are cali hash plant, L.A. Affie, and also G13cheese so those pics wiill be on the next post

Curious though, what's with the two separate nute lines? You combine them or are you doing a side by side comparison?

Also does that soil have nutrients in it or is it like a soilless medium (promix)?

im using both of the nutes because I've used both of them in the past but YESSSSS i have yet to do it side by side. So i guess i just want to find out which one is doing better for me. ill probably test them again later with a hydro set up once i build a nice system for this room eventually.

and the soil is fox farm ocean forest... not sure what completely is in it but it has earthworm castings and bat guano as well as some other nutrients. with this you supposably dont need nutes for the first month but i still use nutes at least on larger plants.

Nice! looking forward to seeing the results. I'm curious about dyna-gro as it gets a lots of hype around here. I've just switched from gh flora 3 part to floranova all in one like dyna-gro. I'll be doing a few grows with floranova before trying dyna but I'm def curious to see if it does better than the fox farm.

i put up 2 more 600w lights with hps bulbs so im waiting to turn those on for a bit til i get a 12" exhaust fan (heat problems if i did)
but once i get that things will be boomin... well they are booming now
all of the Ak47 are looking great and are about to be getting to a foot tall so im thinking thats where the budding will begin
cant wait to get the bud pics out there!!!

next time i post i might be flowering... well lets hope soooo!!! im ready for a harvest after this long drought ive put myself thru. but with all the new construction and equipment it will sure be worth it!!

Cool looking grow man I just got myself one of the open wing hoods and damn those things put a lot more heat off then I thought, also are those last two going to be all the 600s up inside the flower room
we are flipping at about the same time tomorrow starts my first day of 12/12
also yeah that harvest should really pay you back for all the nice stuff your putting in there do you have a weight goal for this one?
