Air Stones

I'm getting close to rapping up my first grow. I made an aero-hydro grow system, using 2 airstones in my solution tote. 2 other totes were my grow boxes, 4 plants/ box. I used 10 CFLs w/clamp fixtures.
Before my next set-up, I want to clean everything up first, but can air stones be cleaned? Also is there any type of PH meter that can be attached to my solution box so I can get a constant read-out from it? No doubt it would have to be powered via 120 volts. Some photos, solution tote, grow 3 weeks, & last 2 photos near harvest. Thanks

I've found some nice five inch long air stones at the 99 cents store in the pet department, and round ones too. They fit great in an Aerogarden. My big ten incher is really a tight fit. At that price you don't have to wash them they can periodically be thrown away. As far as a pH meter that would constantly give you a read out I don't think they're really designed to be used like that. You could probably suspend it in your reservoir some how but I fear the battery and the sensing tip wouldn't last long that way.

This is from www.aquariumguys.com:

Air stones of all types can usually be cleaned well by boiling in clean water, then soaking in vinegar for about a day. Once calcium or other deposits are gone, attach an airline from your air pump and running the stone in fresh water for 5-10 minutes. Remove stone from water while running the pump a few minutes longer. Let air dry.
