Air stone

I have read this in here somewhere but just wondering if I’m pumping to much air threw my DWC?
as an ideal ratio are we looking for 1 litre per min, per 1 gallon of solution.
I have been battling with ph going down, plants not therefore plants not eating the way they should. I am using a 5 gallon pail and have 16.5 L of water in it, my pump says it does min, 16L per min, I have one pump for each plant(I have 2).
I just came across this reading a chart on here yesterday and lowered my pumps from a high setting to low. I am doing reservoir changes this morning and wondering if I should maybe even go lower and connect the two plants to one pump?

It's not going to matter. With such a small volume of water, you're going to battle stable pH and water temps all the time. This is why a lot of members here switched to recirculatingDWC. It's got a reservoir and a 2-3" pipe that returns the water back to the res from the bucket(s) and a pump at the res feeding waterfalls to each bucket site.

Ok well maybe I will start to look that up and build for my next grow, thanks so much for the heads up, I will look into that for sure

Hey Airwalker do you know a spot in here I could look at some diagrams and so on for this, maybe a how to build site or spot in here or somewhere else? Can I do this with two or three pails or do I require 4?

You can do it with as many as you want

That's cool man. Pretty low-key. I think you'll be surprised at the pressure of mine. i can't remember now, but its some where around 5-600 gph

That thing is way overpriced. The whole thing sits on a very simple method of splitting the water to oxygen and hydrogen. In big system I’d be worried about the hydrogen gas... I was looking around and saw 2 more very interesting thing. First one called Carmin. I don’t really get how it...
