Yeah, done well you can get micro climates in the tub sorta. One end favoring one set of creatures and the other end favoring the other, just like in a real lake...
Hey Ren, that micro climate theory sounded like such a good idea I couldn't help myself and had to to try it now. I haven't made a tea for them in almost 2 months now since it's a little extra work, but they always love me when I do. I arranged my stones different, and where I put the aquarium heater that I always set at like 70-72 degrees. So it should have a cool and warmer section in both the higher and lower agitated water. I hope that makes sense, but I am a stoner.

Good job. I am not so sure that tote is long enough to provide a big difference between the two ends but it's hard to tell in a still photo, I am sure you can tell more by looking at it bubble.
