Why too much work? Once the pots are full of coco pressed in they are not messy at all, you do get little bits of coco in the runoff but just take it slowly with watering it's no hardship. The air pots will be removed very easily when potting up without damging any roots.
what i meant was, was that they require A LOT of watering. I dont like recirc systems so i opt for a DTW. DTW i air pots with coco took A LOT of water and upkeep.

i still have some moms in 3 gallon air pots in soil, which get watered every other day or even every third day with a feed 1-2 times a week

yeah ninja those plants look the shit, i just got 2 little red dwarf auto flowers going and its my 1st grow, the tents small, but im 20 live with my mum and for now il have to keep my small tent as i dunno if my mum will be so cool if i grow plants the same height as her, whats the best medium? i use all mix this time, its 20% sphagnum peat moss, 35% garden peat, 10% high quality organic Worm-Humus , 30% perlite and 5% Pre-Mix. is that any good?

you'll be fine. just keep an eye on them and dont over feed!
