Hello - first noob post.
So I have a 4x4(6ft tall) grow tent that I will be using for my grow, that is located in a room in my basement. Privacy is not a concern. I do have access to windows for the exhaust, so I can setup an exhaust fan up top inside the tent as normal, and exhaust the hot air outside via ducting - or just to the main unfinished area in the basement.
My concern: the basement air quality is pretty musty/generally poor. It's right next to a laundry room in an unfinished area with a furnace, and the previous owners of the house had their cat's litterbox there, so it just smells weird and not very suitable for growing plants it seems. I am concerned the only air coming through the bottom of the grow tent will not be "fresh", and contribute to mold and just general stunted growth. Is this a valid concern, or am I just a noob? And if this is valid, what can I do about it? Is there some way I can "scrub" the air coming in via the intake?
Thanks in advance,
