Air cooled hood vs. Cool tube with reflector

The only time id personally use a cool tube is like the guy above mentioned, implemented vertically and with no reflector.

I have always used cool tubes, the other I day I did a lux test Cool Tube vs Top of the line Flexstar and because I could get the cool tube so close the lumen output was over double from the cool tube.
