I recently created a file cabinet stealth grow box with interior dimensions 15”x26.5”x40”.

I have the entire setup ready to go, however I’m extremely paranoid about air circulation through the canopy to disperse heat and strengthen stems. I had a smart devil 3 speed usb fan

mounted on the top of the cabinet pointing toward the canopy at 45° angle.

I’m worried that the fan isn’t enough to prevent bud rot. Do I ditch the fan and get a bigger one? Or is it good enough

I have found with small cabs you want to mount your fans running with the longer length of the box. Ideally, make it so you can raise and lower this to be in line with the top of your canopy.

I used a 120mm computer fan mounted on skewers to slide up and down, it was very effective. And cheap.

Do you have pictures of the skewer set up?

No, but all I did was glue two pieces of drinking straw to each side of the fan. Then built two 24" skewer "rails" for the fan to go up and down. Just used a piece of tape to hold it in place.

That’s genius.
do you put the fan above or below a trellis net

My netting had an opening but I had two 120mm fans. One kept above the netting and one below.

took your advice with a slight twist. 1/4” dowel from floor to ceiling with a bullnose binder clip to hold it in one steady direction, still adjustable
