Aiming 400g 3x3 Runtz Muffin in hydroponics. I have poor sight

If you're able to buy and/or source a potassium silicate product that would help to stop the pH drift and stabilize the solution.

Some examples are Protekt from Dyna Gro/Superthrive or Rhino skin from AN. Protekt is better in concentration and price.

I personally never grow without it for the pH buffering aspect. It's also a wetting agent and betters the cation exchange action. You gain pH stability and better nutrient uptake.

Got the equipment. Lower fan installed, humidifier runs 15min per hour.
Temp 26-27c humidity 55-65%, ideal VPD.
In these coming days I'll be very actively tucking leaves and bending/supercropping highest points. Gonna start flower soon! They are now 43 days from sprout.

That’s bushy! Looking good! If those were my plants I would get rid of more leaves in the undergrowth. Get some more open air flow from down under. Some of those big fan leaves look spent anyway. More energy expenditure on the top canopy at this point .
 
I took some lower leafs off. Babys going to sleep in an hour so that's why the droopy leaves. Going to restrict airflow in to the flat, humidity had dropped to 38% at lowest, temps being at 26-27c. I still have some runtz muffin seeds left but I really don't like how this strain spreads, not enough anyways. All the tops have good growth underneath but they just wont pop. Prolly going to get around 300-350 grams from these.
Lots of wasted energy from the plants. And I have two clones coming up from these, might aswell grow them too as they'll have 9 week period of veg ahead. Maybe with that time I'd get a full tent blooming..Runtz muffin, really calming and euphoric effect, nice aromas, but quite low yield and hard to manage.

Girls doing better now so lights were raised a bit and put to 320W. Removed unwanted sidebranches, decided not to lollipop fully yet. So much waste. This strain... :wall:20250510_094633.jpg

Idk, should this strain be mainlined or SoG to make it work well? Too much sativa traits on mid veg and flowering but still doesn't make good colas...

Topped the clones and fixed temporary binding posts, gonna try mainlining these ones. Last go on the Runtz Muffin. With 9-10 weeks of vegging these are gonna be almost rootbound.

My power cord assembly..I gotta do something to this mess. One timer for lights. The other for exhaust, humidifier and under canopy fan. Only one free outlet for the whole system on the other side of the flat. I did have current leakage when the led panel was out of phase..luckily everything runs smooth atm.

I'm currently using the top canopy fan manually as it can't be timed because of its digital circuitry (won't start with timer). So basically I need a new top canopy fan, an analogical one. Girls wake up every day at 10pm so I'll have to be awake/at home to start the fan. I guess it wouldn't hurt too much to keep the fan on all times but I really like it when my setup makes no noise whatsoever in the daytime when exhaust is on only for 15 minutes at 1.5 hour intervals, to keep humidity down. My airpump is Eheim 400, makes basically no noise.

My air pump is so noisy I had to get a noise reduction box. How many air ports
Does your air pump have? I need a humidifier like you have. That’s a good one. I see your issue with the power cords. Can you put them up on a table ?

I totally relate to the neighbors and noise.! I had one neighbor call the K9 on me!! She lived below my grow op and all the equipment I had running was noisy. That’s why I have a sound box now. Back the. I wrapped all my fans and shit up in many blankets and some foam insulation. It was a large operation in a small room. I was fucking crazy. Sometimes the growing becomes so passionate risks are taken. Luckily I was given notice that an inspection was to take place in 49 hours and we took down the entire op and gave away all plants.

The air pump has two 200L/H ports, the best I've ever owned. They are not fully separate chambers so you'll need matching airstones. The humidifier was infact the cheapest one at the place where I ordered the stuff at that time. Could be bigger...

The cords have headroom only at the the top of the tent, and they're not long enough to go up there. I gotta invest in some new ones and figure what layout would suite the best. Then build a cableholder...infact I gotta investigate how cheap I could get a proper one.

Thanks, I have high hopes for these ones. Maybe my previous humidity issues were the reason for so small yields. 100-150g per plant, 115 days.

Tell me about it! It can be a hassle sometimes. I'm bipolar and in the past went to psych ward for being manic, almost once a year. Been busted for growing for 2 times, the other was a 4x4 and the other 2.5x.2.5...police were only involved because I was so noisy. Once even my father saved my Wonder Pie, which I infact had a journal here. Now on probation until 2026 fall. Like its gonna stop me. I've always had spare equipment somewhere :blsmoke:

What do you do for your intake air? That has always been the most problematic issue for me is so many ways! I want to use fresh air directly from outside thru ducting into the tent. Considerations with such set up include security. Having the window open leaves your home exposed to break ins and prying eyes wondering why ducting is in the window in the first place. Having the window on a higher floor away from a roof seems more secure than a bottom floor window. And then trying to camouflage it helps.
