What kind of light do you have? If your hood has vent holes then I suggest you use them, I had to buy a bigass inline fan for mine. As far as humidity you need to get a dehumidifier or some other agent like what you get at walmart or autozone for your car. Arm and hammer makes a nice little box that soaks up huidity.

97 degrees off a 250 w? mh run hotter than hps. guess if it's that hot you arent gaining anything w the mh. adding floros can add that couple extra degrees also. you could try turning them off for awhile and see how it fares. you def need to run legit ventilation and while doing so keep in mind heat rises. a fan blowing on a jug of ice can help 1 or 2 degrees in that small of a space. you could raise the light a little. so many different little things to take into consideration. not quite sure for your exact scenario without seein it

once again, hard to say without seeing it. def need some kind of intake as well as output if the temps are that high. best I can say without seein is to cut the intake low and the output high (as we all know, heat rises). you could try duct booster fans. 6 or 8 in should do it, unless you want to go all out and buy a vortex fan.
once you set up somethin you can play with it and adjust the results your getting within a few degrees. but if you run an outtake you should def see those temps drop. You'll be good if you can get it down to like 82-84

if you need to look at what you need to do ahead of time just google theres tons of pics of that stuff right here on riu
