My plant has been getting these spots and i don't know what to do, I'm running general hydroponics veg, micro, and bloom nutes in half the recommended dosage with the exception of the micro because it looks like a calcium deficiency. my ph is also 6.

Carl: what did your nutes manufacturer say to do or the people you bought your nutes from? I deal with some pretty knowledgeable people at Discount Hydro at Riverside, California and they've always been pretty helpful in cases like this. I agree, it looks like a calcium/magnesium deficiency but looks can be deceiving in little photos that were taken a couple of days ago.

What ever the problem, you might want to consider this, once you see it, the problem is already there. Your baby is being stressed and you don't want that. At this point, you might want to flush that plant for a few days with nothing but pH balanced water to clean out it's system before you feed it again. You might also want to consider going with something else. This is the main reason I've stayed with Technaflora's, "Recipe for success." It seems to be more user friendly for both the plant and the grower.

In any case, you should run this through the 'plant problems section.' They have some pretty sharp folks there and you're more likely to get advice from people who are in the know. Here, our primary interest here is florescent lighting and their related problems. That may be why you only got two responses. I hope that helped. HSA

You're in the cfl lighting area. You'll get better responses in the plant problems area.

Thanks, it was a nutrient lock out due to the pH being way to high, its all good now. I also tried tripling the micro neuts because according to my local hydroponics guru pot loves calcium and magnesium, and with organic nuets its difficult to over feed.
