AgSIL questions

Is silica ok to be used during flower or is it only for veg? Also can I use silica on my cal mag water days or do I have to use it before I add my other nutrients on feeding days? What about as a folier spray, how often would you apply during veg?

I have never foliar sprayed anything. No liquid ever touches my leaves. You can use silica in flower but I dont think you would see any benefit. I stop using silica 2 weeks after flipping to flower. I have been mixing silica with a very light dose of the whole general hydroponics lineup this grow and im very happy with everything so far. Im in organic soil so just a little boost of nutrients seems to do them good.

From my limited understanding of the additional benefits beyond just being a source of Si, I add it for the extra K and also use it to move the pH as needed.

Since silica is so alkaline if I plan on foliar feeding do I need to pH down to 6.5?

I never have, you really don’t want to foliar feed during flowering though, in veg you mine as well add some neem or karanja and get the ipm done too,

Good idea, about how much neem would I mix into the agsil 7.8% solution

This is the neem I’m working with. I should be able to use this right? I don’t have to go and get neem meal or some thing and make some sort of tea do I?

I honestly don’t measure it Anymore I just pour in a little. I think it’s around a half tablespoon a gallon of water. The bottle says ready to use so you probably won’t need agsil. You can also get bottles of pure neem from a garden website then you need agsil to emulsify it
