Ok, so now that you're done making a fool of yourself, take a second to read this.

Spamming is against the rules. Take a look for yourself.

RULES

Also, your question has most definitely been answered. It has been answered before you were here, and it was answered again by MR ALEX.

If you would take the time to actually do your own research rather than rely on everyone else to do it for you, there wouldn't be this problem, correct?

I actually did this a few days ago. I can still see a difference in the amounts from the side I've been using it on to the other. I'm pretty convinced that it works. Of course, if I were growing more than just three plants I probably wouldn't be using it, just too much energy consumption for a big grow, just like Gypsy was explaining.
hell yea they work.very low kelvin and high lumen..im gonna be using the tanningbed bulbs though..the ones that put out the most UV rays..man the hot though..gonna air cool em ..me and my padna gonna rig up something...its gonna be tight as hell..but yea gypsy got a big ass op..So it would be benificial to us cause we wouldnt need but 3 maybe at the most..But i also see where gypsy coming from too.It wouldnt be benificial for a large grow..But my MH-HPS sure knocked the dust off those cfls..comparing grows.U got the UV light but you also need light intensity to penetrate..or more cfls.,,But i think these tanningbed bulbs gonna be bad azz,

The HPS is for sure gonna kick some ass. That's why I'm getting two or more of those light setups you got. Gonna be sweet!

Well, I'm not going to be running them in the same partitions. I'm gonna have three separate areas in my grow room. One each for experiments, veg and flower.

What Up?
no i havent read this entire thread but have hilighted the past 10 or so pages and sparked a couple questions if you will. My grow is small, am i wasting my effort with a 70W Hps? this is not the only lighting I am also using 10 CFLs and i have avalible 1 UV spot light I use for home inspection at work. I thought about using this but was afraid it could burn my girls. Advise??

i was thinkin about gettin a 600w conversion bulb to get some of that mh goodness to my girls...yo you know anything about them maybe u can get two conversion bulbs instead of 1 hps and 1 mh it just seems u would get a better blend naw mean instead of having one side of ur chamber hps and the other mh...unless u just rotate your pots back and forth...but it sounds good

i cant wait to see waht u gonna end up with purp i love new grow spaces so much potential

No, the HPS will definitely be beneficial. I don't know about the spotlight, I would have to have more information on the bulb and do a little research on the differences.

I haven't really thought the whole process out yet, that was just my guidelines on what I kind of want.

We will just have to wait til I get my house and find out what I'm working with. Then, the brainstorming and carpentry skills get to work.

I may get on XBL tomorrow, just depends on how things go.

Ok this is what i found on this light,
BIB-150P Built-In-Ballast UV Lamp
This bulb produces a nominal steady-state 365nm intensity of 4,500 µW/cm2 at 15 inches (38cm). average rated life of 5,000 hours and are specially designed to withstand rough use.

looks good..decent wavelength for flowering my only suggestion would be to use the back of your hand to test the heat coming of that badboy b4 u leave them unattended...if its uncomfortable for ur hand after five min its too close..other wise ur all good...

ps dont know if u have reflector for hps but u should invest in one or diy...info on this site in diy section

maybe its just me, but that theory has always bothered me. Really, who's gonna hold their hand by a light for 5 full minutes?

Not hatin', just saying...kinda a silly thing to do. Better off just getting a thermometer...
