Aftermath of my Supercrop

I had read that de is only effective when dry but ineffective when wet but works the same way once wet de dries up again.

the thing you've specified is it organic? and the predator mites, how did you keep them on your plant? I've thought about some beneficial bugs to aid in this problem but I'm outdoors and they'd probably just take off.
You usually have to re-dress the top soil with DE after you water. If its vegging outdoors, just sprinkle DE over her and the top of the soil. if the soil is wet and everything around is dry, then that is a huge problem and they will keep going untill they find another moist spot. You want to smother the top of the soil with DE AFTER waterings anyways which is a pain but it helps bring down the population in about a week, you might see them exiting through the drain holes ect, just throw the pot in another pot full of rocks or something so they would actually have to fight they're way into the drainage holes if they wanted to lay eggs. Predator mites and bugs are also good! They will not leave untill your plant is bone clean, if you do go this route, let them do they're job. Do not neem, do not azamax ect..

I'd like to see a comparison between the yields of two plants started at the same time and under the same conditions but with one that had that crimping technique done on it and no other pruning or anything and the other left natural. I want to know what, if any, the percentage of increased yield would be. It doesn't look like something that would increase yield, maybe keep the plant shorter. How would it increase yield? The stalk between the bulges is completely normal. How could more nutrients go through it?

supercropping is intended to have your lower shoot become tops. and if you have your lower branches not hiding under an array of fan leaves from your bushy girl, they get more light and in turn your light is gonna cover more "tops". you won't end up with one main cola and some popcorn, but several, almost equal sized colas. auxins are evenly dispersed throughout the plant for anything lower than that bend.

is a praying mantis considered a predatory insect. cause two nights ago I had one on my crop. and he was gone the next day. lol I was hoping he was gonna slay motherfuckers.

They do infact slay the bastards, but outdoors they come and go ya know, its the predetory mites that have no reason to leave with food on the table. Plenty of fish in the ocean if you know what i mean.

its a great method for poorly lit grow rooms! Hell some people have to cut off 95% of leaves to get an increase which is incredibly sad and a dead give-away to buy better lights. Super-cropping outdoors where im from will usually do more harm than good. Not all plants can take 100% of tropical sun from top to bottom.

where can I get those and which again should I get. might try those just for preventative measures. they do no harm right? what else do they kill?

I'm outdoors and they seem like they took fine to the cropping. they did get bushier and I got more tops. my plant is pretty bushy and it had a lot of fan leaves covering lower budsites. so that why I did that. to get them to shoot to the top and get direct sunlight. and also I planted late in the season so my hours of sunlight are at like 12 and a half hours. and I supplement the other 6 with 6 42 watt cfls. I also needed an even canopy for the lights I do have over it so super cropping was yet another benefit. I want some big ass bushes. i want them to be really wide like crazy wide. I'm gonna veg as long as I can. I'm in no rush for a harvest.

Also recently realized that Great White Myco's has a strain of Bacillus Thuringensis a.ka. BT and so does Roots Organics Oregonism XL. I wonder if they are strains that kill gnat larvae, some strains of BT don't kill gnat larvae. I'm going to email both companies and see if they know.
I used to use Mike O'Rizey and switched to Oregonism XL because I liked that I could add it to water. You could be right about it killing Gnats. I used to have them. Not severe, but any are too many. I thought I eliminated them, but maybe Oregonism XL is/was playing a role. Now I use 35% H2o2 in a rez setup so don,t use mycorrhizae anymore, and shouldn't see them nonetheless because of the peroxide.

Okay I get it. It's to have a similar effect to pruning but you get to retain the large main bud.

yeah and depending on what you're pruning, it might effect growth. you need your fan leaves to create sugars that are food for your plant. photosynthesis. any dead and already fully grown fan leaves can be trimmed because they get to a point where they are no longer necessary and just creating shades on certain buds.

I meant pruning growing tips.

when ever I ssupercroped I would bend the branch down and hold it kinda make a creese like if you bent a straw. then the stem will stay down and all new growth will be str8 up

how are your results? have you always super cropped or have you grown with no plant training? what other training do you do?
